Last night, I put my copy of GTA: London 1969 into my PS2 (my PS3 Slim isn't backwards-compatible) to play and after going through the annoying disc-swap (since it's part of the mission pack) I go and do the first mission, right? Well, after delivering the scooter to the guy, he tells me to meet this other guy, and I do that too. Now just when I'm about to talk to him, my screen immediately cuts to black and nothing happens. At first I thought, oh, it's probably a cutscene, so I reset the console and tried again. But the exact same thing happens! My original GTA disc barely works as it is, so just for the disc-swapping alone, it can take up to 3 minutes. But I didn't think I'd be experiencing any problems with the actual London mission pack!

Can anyone help me out? I really wanted to play through this one.

Maybe its your PS2, but if it works well with other games, I don t know. Or maybe the PS2 has problems with some PSX games.
Do you have PC with internet in your home?, if you have one, download the GTA London, its freeware.

No, my PS2 works fine. My GTA and GTA 2 games seem to work, but now I can't even go through the disc-swapping procedure for GTA: London 1969. That being said, I'll take your advice and download the free game online.
