Before I give you all my ps3 cnc legends list, I feel I should list the nominees, after I list those who would be on the list if they weren't so damn lazy and/or cheap, and that is not a condemnation of them. This is an honest list, as some of the people who only play allow I like to play with very much and have a great knowledge of many things within the game, but they don't play disallow so they are ineligible: madridy, punjabi, Ricky_Bobby, Nate86whatever it was, catfisher, stlouiss, jonypl, IBANGGUYS, sgt. slaughter, terror-alert, proudracing, Forty6Two, arimiguel (I think), blue warhol, swaggerkid, maverickszx6, echotech, and maynardhanson. Some I would prefer not to play disallow because of wifi, which seems to be the biggest culprit for lag, especially the teleporters.
I want to mention the international factor before I go on. I seem to get a little with players outside of america on allow or disallow. It frustrates me because I am competetive.
There will be three teirs to the list. The first tier is the top ten, the second tier is the very honorable mention list, those who were in very close contention for the top ten, and the third tier being the honorable mention list, those who were amongst the elite, but surely not in the top ten.
So, first the third tier, the honorable mentions list in no particular order:
GoGetter85
A solid vet. Cruel to his opponents, and to his teammates he doesn't like. Comes up with cool ways to kill the enemy. Has retired this name and now uses one I'm sure some of you know and hate. Would be ranked top 50 if it was all on 1 account
Jamesman666
I've only played against him a few times, but he has a solid 4 to 1 kill ratio. I don't know how much allow to dissalow he plays, but he was effective in killing my teammates, just not me.
VIPulp
Very good all around player, from austrialia from what I understand, which would explain the lag problems I've had playing him. Plays allow and disallow, though I only see him in allow anymore. Very close to top ten contention.
Starchild
Currently #49. Never played him, dunno what he plays, but he has a 6 to 1 kill ratio and nearly three times the team money as personal money, just close enough to make him mentionable.

Played him a few times when cornishlad was on my friends list recently. #62. Solid player. 1.5 to 1 kill ratio takes him out of top ten contention. Foreigner, so he seemed to lag a little to me.

Whatever his name is, I hate it because you can't tell someone to kick him that easily over your mic, but he is a good player and I've played with and against him in both allow and disallow. #67 currently.
IzaKamakura
Don't know what he plays, but I played against him for one game in one of my disallow rooms. Killed him a few times, and then he left. I had recalled seeing him in the standings and was disappointed, especially since he wins 80% of his games and has very close to a 10 to 1 kill ratio and 3x the team money. Worth a mention just for that.
Natural2Kill
I'm sure you all hate him especially when he has his mic on, but I had befriended him at one time. He is a very good player but doesn't understand english well and lacked the patience for my style of bossing. Currently #122.
Oklahoma Jake
Retired for a while now. Dropped down in the rankings a lot but used to be int he top 100. I played a number of elite wars with and against him. Solid all around. Not good enough kill ratio for contention.

Retired since Red Dead Redemption it seems. Not the greatest kill ratio, but it seemed like she was never the boss, and she mostly seemed to play elite matches unless there weren't enough of them online.

Haven't seen him in a few months. He was rising quick under this new name. I forgot his other one that he lost the password for, but he would surely be top 100 if he didn't. Solid killer. Likes to camp a little. We worked very well together, even if we had 3 or more noobs on our team.
There are also the unjudgables like the ones with amazing stats that I've never played with like cambero, legacy of japan, adopeaddict, yango-balkans, vienna86, rebellions13, TheHossan, desihero, milotrianta, and GanonV.

Now for the very honorable mentions. Lets start with the one that will probably be the most surprising one not in the top ten:
BMG-TBH
All complaints of lag I've heard aside (he's an aussie or kiwi so no wonder americans), he is very good. 4 to 1 kill ratio is great, but most of those games he played were 2 on whatever while he and his mic'd friend pray on noobs. That is one of the easiest ways to cheaply dominate because there are not enough people for the other team to kill to keep up so they have to successfully make it to the getaway and kill the boss, which probably wouldn't happen against this guy. One big shot against him is not the fact that he was one of the biggest jerks I've encountered online, but that he actually left once because he didn't get his 100$ for a kill. He got the kill, just not the money. Call me a hypocrite as I do leave when I repeatedly don't get my kills. "I want my kill" is my catchphrase (spoken when others kill my but I've done what is required to kill them and don't get it).
Brumett23
Only played with him a low number of games, but he impressed me. I hadn't reached my proper state of mind yet so I was getting beat up a little (always when Fuga invites me) by him. Better than 3 to 1 ratio in money and killing. # 84 but may be really worthy of the top ten.
Cornishlad
#2 overall in money. Came very close to being on the list. Was on my friends list for a short time and I found that playing with he and his friends led to a whole new avenue of different situations, so he seems to rank high on creativity. Short of 2 to 1 in killing and 3 to 1 in team money kept him off the list.

#10 overall in money. Both allow and disallow. Knowledgable, solid everything. 4 to 1 killer. 70% winner. one of the last eliminations from the top ten. I'll complain about the international lag again though.
Jaestone
Claims to play mostly in disallow but I always see him in allow lately. Maybe the fact that he doesn't have a mic makes him deserving of the top ten. #25 is better than 3 to 1 killer.
Gremlin2in1
I haven't played him a lot, but he and his friends surely gave me trouble, and without seeing stats, he was obviously the best one. #41 has a 4.5 to 1 ratio and wins 85% of the time.
ErFuga
I would think this is el fuga, but they were playing in the same game and er was having a consistent effect on the few games I played against him. Not much to judge on.
ajbns87
I would hate your name if it didn't start with aj because it would fall into the unpronouncables. Sparsely played with/against him. Statistically lacking 2 to 1 kill ratio to be eligible, but I include him because of the friends I've seen him play with and how I've seen him play. I get the impression he plays a lot of elite wars, which would have an effect on kill ratio. It's not all about kill ratio, but how you got that kill ratio.

Another one I've sparsely played with but was impressed quickly with. #123 is a 3 o 1 killer and teamer, and wins nearly 75%.
Herbal-Tonic
Impressive near 6 to 1 kill ratio on disallow, but just a little short on 3 to 1 money. I was disappointed at how much more I killed him than he killed me playing against each other. Amazing stats, but that is the one factor that lost him top ten ranking. Top twenty? Probably.
Try2KillMe
Like me, the guy knows how to name himself, and it's just the way he plays. He is a prodigy and a jerk and hangs with the jerks, but his dominance was immediately recognized the first time I played with him. Almost as good as me at killing. May soon be worthy of top ten. I will no longer play with him or lethallag after they tried teaming up on me to get me to leave and give up my couple thousand dollars. I outdid them, killing them both in the time it took to kill me once, and then ran and stayed away from them til the end of the game. This is why I think everyone should boycott LethalRog and this guy, and possibly even Ralphy by association. I will msg everyone in the room to kick the first two mentioned if I have to.

TERROR-COPS
I may be mistaken but I swear this guy was in this game fuga invited me to recently and he was putting a whuppin on. #72 has close to 4 to 1 kills and close to 3 to 1 money. May be missing him in top ten.

I think kill / win ratio is not necessarily a good baramoter of a good player.
I have an oppinion about who the best are on the PC, but virtually all of them are approaching 1/1 kill/death ratios and 50% win ratios on the leader boards. Why? Because they all play against each other all the time, and mix the teams up.
When you play against people, you know if they are good or not. That will tell you more than the statistic ever will. Also players have different strengths. Some are great tacticians, others have superior map knowledge, some are better gunfighters, drivers, pilots, snipers etc. It's having a mix of abilities with the people on your team that makes for a great CnC match.

kid325i you must be the biggest headed guy on here, as ajbns said ive never seen or heard of you on cnc before, where are you from, im from the UK so maybe its because we always play at different times. Also what rank are you? I looked through the top 500 and couldnt find you.
as for your point about a noob driving the cop car and not looking at the map, dont you think it would be better if you the passenger not doing anything while in the car, to put the way point on and keep updating the way point to the quickest way to the boss, that way the driver can just concetrate on driving.
and to your point about your team mate killing you because you not going to getaway. I too prefer to play fight til the boss dies, but only with friends so we all know what we doing, but if I playing in a room full of noobs or even high stars that I dont know I will try get to the getaway because not everyone wants to play the same way.
you also need to think when you are the boss and you are getting your 30+ kills your noob team mates are proberbly getting 30+ deaths and getting p****d off and that why they kill you,

I don't like when people put the indicator thing on the map and the green line pops up. I know where I'm going no matter where I'm at in the City. I don't need those annoying waypoints getting in the way of my GPS. Also, just while we're on the topic......one thing I can't f*cking stand is when you have some-one SUPER picky who is controlling the game room. And that person takes like half an hour to start every single f*cking game. Major violators of this are DEFINITELY Ralphy613 and Catfisher420......unless the game is EXACTLY setup to their liking with the teams stacked just right, they will NEVER start the game. They insist on kicking all newbs which is fine if everyone is in on it and kicks the newb too......but sometimes you have like 9 people in the room and only 3 are kicking ........and its clear that there isn't the manpower to kick whom Catfisher420 or whomever wants to kick........and they just WON"T start the game. f*cking wasting everyones time. Sure I'd rather play w/o noobs, but if the choice is wait for 25 minutes to play with no noobs or play with noobs and not wait all day, well then f*ckit I'll play with noobs. I f*cking HATE people like Catfisher420. How much f*cking time do you have to hang out on GTA all f*cking night? |
