Who here likes Paramore? What is your favourite song of their's? Mine is either Careful, Ignorance or Misery Business.

I think they're a decent enough band, though I suspect a good chunk of their fanbase like them mostly because Hayley Williams is "OMG SOOOO HOTT!". For the most part I think they're alright.

Though I really hate The Only Exception. That is indeed the only exception.

Yeah at first i didn't like "the only exeption" but after a while it grew on me. And i discovered Paramore because of how hot Hayley is lol.

I'm a pretty big fan (going to see them at a festival later this month). I'd never go as far as to say they're a great band but I certainly enjoy the music and it's nice to get a female voice in the pop-rock/pop-punk genre for a change.

It's really hard to ignore a lot of the Christian imagery in the lyrics, mostly noticeable in the last album. It's not explicit or anything, but it's there in a small part. But that doesn't really take away from it being some good, fun music.

EDIT: Hayley has got a pretty good voice too. About 2:46 in this video is pretty damn good:

Me likes. I saw them in February and I got tickets for their October show a few weeks ago. I'm fairly confident that I wouldn't give two sh*ts about them if it weren't for Hayley, though. But she's not only a stone cold fox, her voice is amazing considering how petite she is.

They are okay and the lead singer is hot but the Christian stuff turns me off.

^Not going to literally agree with that, but out of the most succesfull female artists - Gaga, RiRi, P!nk etc that's very true.

That is quite possibly the single stupidest conglomeration of words I've read in a god-awful long time.

You obviously don't listen to music.

The Adelaide show is the day before that. Wouldn't mind seeing them at the music bowl though, last show I saw there was Daft Punk (y)

Do u know how far away the grass is to the stage at the bowl? All the seats had sold out and i'm not familiar with the bowl's layout.

It's all built so you get an awesome view no matter where you are. I was on the grass for DP, and there is a railing and a bit of a drop down to the seats. The angle is pretty intense the higher you go (like the stage is so low down when you're on the hill), but if you get as close to the seats as possible it should be wicked fun.

If you guys like your pop-rock with female vocalists, you should check out the Pretty Reckless as well. They're a bit more "pop" but still pretty decent considering they're just starting out.

I like them. My favorite songs would have to be "misery business" and "That's what you get". I think they became better known because of Twilight, and therefore people who do not like Twilight, more than likely won't give them a chance. I would see them in concert if they were around here! icon14.gif
