Burn Notice summer finale was awesome, as soon as they mentioned card's name at the start it all clicked though (so no surprises) it all jsut clicked I knew that he was involved and gray ambusing Michael and co confirmed it (Michael must be an idiot not to see it, cos Gray must have someone in the CIA to know they are there and card was running the OP in Langley) he would have had something to do with Michael getting burned too as he trained him

Trying not to judge something I haven't seen, I watched the first episode of the US Inbetweeners. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as the trailer made it seem. I'd still say just watch the UK version and not bother with the US one, but I'm not just going to bury my head in the sand and not acknowledge its existence like I planned. My only issues are that the people running it don't seem to get some of the characters, or at least theyre making them different this time around. Will and Simon are essentially carbon copies, but Jay is just a bit of a dickhead now, Neil's gone from being a bit dense to someone who might need real help, and Will's mum (while still fit) doesn't seem anywhere near insincere enough.

The first episode was pretty much play-for play the second episode of the original, with 2 minutes of exposition at the start to cover why Will was there and whatever. They've got 12 episodes in the season though, so even if they do just rehash existing episodes, they're going to have to think of new material pretty fast if the show gets a second series.

For a sense of perspective: If you've seen the pilot for the US IT Crowd with Joel McHale, the Inbetweeners is nowhere near as bad as that.

I don't think it'll make it past season 1 at most tbh.

I kinda feel bad for the cast. Its such a horribly unfunny show. Its more like a drama than a comedy.

Just started Six Feet Under. I feel like if the pilot is a good indicator of what the show will be like, this could go up there with Mad Men and The Wire as one of my favourites. Anyone here dislike it?

Anyone watch Copper on BBC America? It's weird that there is an original show on that channel that isn't a British import. The Nerdist also has a show on it, although 75% of the time they talk about Doctor Who.

Yeah it's really good, I actually couldn't contain myself sometimes and started crying, not many shows do that.

Started Walking Dead few days ago. Pretty good too, although there is not much to do with a post-apocalyptic world, event-wise.

I don't necessarily dislike it but I gave up on it because it was too f*cking depressing all the f*cking time. I'll have to try it again soon but I reckon fall TV will keep me occupied - Homeland, Hell on Wheels, Boardwalk Empire and more stuff probably.

I just love that mid-1800s time period. I have high hopes for Copper. Right now it's alright, the cast is great, the atmosphere is great, the story is a bit slow, and like you said, the fighting is a bit weak. It definitely has promise.

Just started watching Mad Men S1 today.

Well, just watched the last episode of Weeds. Kind of pissed that Nancy and Andy didn't end up with each other.. Other than that I guess they wrapped things up nicely. Weird how there was no mention of Ceila. The highlight was the revelation that Ignacio started a "cosplay store". The episode itself kind of sucked as far as what you expect from an episode of Weeds. None of Andy's famous rants or speeches, which is my favorite part of the series. But like I said it wrapped things up. I also thought it was weird that they added the fact that Nancy married Rabbi David, but he died.

Overall, the first 4 season were great, then the series slid into being just okay. I will miss Andy and Doug.
