No but theres still alot of work in the pipeline. Mokrie Dela is currently writing the story and I'm working on some screenshots, new multiplayer modes, radio logos and gangs. I think the comments dried up because there hasn't been alot of visible progress that others can see, but we're taking our time with this idea and hopefully we'll be able to present a successful concept.

Yup. everything's progressing well. I'm also doing the map and i would have them both finished if i could work on them all day. Plus we're aiming for quality over quantity. All i can say is that the Story will be in three acts.
I'm exploring avenues and working out how best to present the arching story lines

Further, it is not known whether GTAIV will pave the way for more sequels. Although Dan Houser has said he "would have a certain confidence" setting GTA outside of the USA, which certainly opens up the possibilities for future GTA games.

Because the big river that goes through centural London is called The River Thames. (it's pronounced 'Tems')

Also, I do think London is a brilliant location for a future GTA, I just don't know if R* would have the guts to do it. There is tons of crime in London, murders are becoming common place within the city and many organised criminals get involved in property and money loaning in the city. Also, car theft of all sorts has had a extreme rise within the last 5 years and many people sell drugs and guns to earn money. Also, with all the dark estates, dingy alleyways, eery parks and drug & drink abusers roaming the streets most nights, makes London a very very dangerous place to be at night, were gun/knief-point robberies are very common place and then by mouring, we have a beautiful city, full of millions of businessmen & women traveling to work and a busy roads with a very busy centural city

I think London would be a brilliant city to hold the next GTA.

@VF94 i don't see the relevance in your post. I'm not sure what your points supposed to be but i'm going to guess that you're saying the game wont be set in london?

VF94, this is just a fanfic/concept not a debate as to whether or not GTA V will be set in London.

Wow, this has got potential, I never though a Grand Theft Auto setting in London would work but it does. Some new fresh ideas yet you have included some of the existing ones from other GTA's. Nice one.

@TommyMufc-Champs : This has already been noticed and will be fixed on the next story update.

@Kwandilibro: The map is in progress - i'm not just sitting and drawing it, i'm studying London, the areas and districts and trying to make it authentic. It's "in progress" and it will be here as soon as i can get it done.
The priority is the story though.

I'm in the process of making radio logos and headings to tidy up the thread and they should be posted today. I'm not sure about the next story update, as previously stated we're taking our time with this concept rather than rushing it. As Mokrie said in an earlier post, we're going for quality over quantity.

That was our intention
To those who's spotted the error within the story (Mission IV has somehow posted itself outside of the table - before Mission I... Clicking Quote, i can see that the mission is in its correct place, i dont know why or how its there, nor does 02fishera.
Hopefully have that fixed soon - just please remember people, mission I starts INSIDE THE TABLE and mission IV is above that :S :S


oh and btw, the missions are called I II III IV etc because this is the prologue.
