Can anyone tell me the reason why Mary J is producing the substance THC? What's the biological reason for that? A self-defence mechanism? This cannot be just an accident.

from what I know, animals love eating the plant raw, and it may have to do with the THC, which is probably an attractant of some sort. it's just that when humans smoke it, we get high.

So animals eat the plant, and seeds, and when they sh*t, they may plant a seed in the process.

So THC is an attractant like bright colors are an attractant.

or at least that makes sense.

I have doubts to say 'this is just an evolutional side-effect' but it could be true. Like humans still having body hair (which is also only an evolutional 'artifact' now).
It would be ironic if it would be for self-defence cause this isn't effective when a human walks by who is searching for some pot. haha
It would be cool if those animals would get high too when they eat it. Look, when we eat it we will! But I've never heard about pot-loving animals so far. I know only one pot-loving monkey, calls himself NaidRaida. Oh yeah, I'm stoned. hahaha

why doubt?
everything is an evolutionary side effect. this applies to all plants as well as animals.

regardless of whether or not the "thing" we're talking about is still useful is beside the point.
it takes a million years to phase out useless evolutionary parts just like it took a million years for them to develop in the first place.

the pot plant might not need THC anymore.
but we won't see THC disappear anytime soon.

Picked up a half of shake on the cheap, pretty happy with it. @murdoc: animals eating your plants is actually a big problem over here, only kangaroos instead of deer. Ive heard pissing a ring around the planting area keeps them away.

It definitely does, I used to go out and do that every day when I tended to the "garden", and there are actually certain foods/drinks you can ingest to make your pee more potent to the creatures.

It's always good to place wire fencing around your plot, but many larger animals love the ganja so much, they'll make it a point to barge through it to get a delicious snack, so even with the barrier, whizzing around the area helps noticeably.

Canne is by far the dryest place I have been so far. Spent ages trying to source some bud but ended up only finding hash We put £50 into one big spliff and passed it round a few of us on the beach, it was actually pretty decent as everyone was high as hell. However I quickly grew sick of the hash, luckily I had a nice bag of Northern lights awaiting on my arrival home.

I can just know that I can go out to meet mates when I want to but at the same time I can just relax at home with some weed. Haha, I mean I was sitting there one night and I just thought it would come in handy, mainly for myself. Now I follow the same thing every time in order not to get caught, it might seem a bit extreme but hey, it's better safe than sorry. I'm sure my mum wouldn't care that much anyway, but I don't want to have an argument in the middle of my high.

Anyways, I have just got my bag, arrived back home a few hours ago and boy is it fat! What's all that brown stuff in the weed (It's not tobacco) most weed strands I think get it but what is it? I'm such a noob when it comes to weed.

I'm ending my weeklong streak tonight. It seems like a waste of weed to just have it every day, even with my vaporizer. I'm basically out except for some in my grinder, which is quite a bit, but I'm going to save it.
