Okay so if you have beaten the Cuban, and Haiti gang missions you know you can change into the "Havana" outfit at the little Havana store well so I go in there to get the outfit and its where one of those "invisible walls is, I can see the icon to walk over to get it but I cant walk over to it because of the invisible wall, what a tease!

BTW I have the gamestop version of the pc version so its really hard to mod the game so I dont know why this is happening!

This is a known bug in the game....

Read #14 for more info http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=188753 .... on how to access the outfit if you have the bug or how to prevent it from occuring in the first place (mission sequence will allow it to spawn in the correct place).

The above link list a link to a fix for PC by demarest for this bug.... I may have it downloaded-- and/or rehosted.... hold on..

(NOTE-- for some reason, firefox is redirecting if you click on the above link back to this thread page..... if it doesn't download using normal methods.... copy and paste it to your address bar or try loading gtaforums with internet explorer rather then firefox... both of the above worked for me)

This contains a zip file... inside this is 2 files....

1. fixcubanoutfitglitch.scm
2. preventcubanoutfitglitch.scm

Since you have the bug... you will need to use #1 (#2 is used for a game before you have the bug to prevent it from occurring)

I could not find the instructions for this one so this will be a bit of trial and error....

Go into your game files... go to the /data file folder.... on my machine it is...

C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\data

Find the main.scm file..... rename this to anything... i usually use a logical name like mainoriginal.scm

Now take the fixcubanoutfitglitch.scm file and put it in that same folder.... then rename it main.scm

Now start your game.... if the game works normally then you are done.... fixed... check the cuban outfit and it should be accessible now...

If not--- Demarest may have made this one so it moves the icon to the correct place....just save your game (assuming you can) and change the file names you changed above back to their original names.... this one may even tell you to save your game.

Load up your game and it should now be fixed....

I'm pretty sure the modified main.scm above was made to replace your main.scm.... and the game should work fine after...

If you are uncomfortable doing this.... please upload your save (use snp.com) and I will test this all out and make sure it works ok.

Spuds725, not even the re-hosted link works with Firefox or Internet Explorer. I even tried it in Safari and it was continuously loading in all three browsers. Please re-re-host the files.

It works just fine on IE8-I just tried it-you MUST Copy/Paste the link manually into the address bar and press Enter, then the download will begin...It Will not work by just clicking the link...I confirmed this just now on my Windows 7 laptop with IE8...Just a friendly heads up.

If you have no way of transferring files, you can still collect the glitched outfit.

Crash any motorcycle in the doorway so it falls over inside there, then go out and sprint onto it. You will be stuck partway thru the ceiling of the doorway. Sprint-jump toward whichever part of the ceiling is widest to get on top of the ceiling. Turn the stick (or use first-person shooter mode) to look directly at the icon, then sprint-jump at it. You should collect it as you fall thru "blue hell"...losing only a little health as you reappear on land.

I just copied link and pasted it into firefox (version 3.6.18) and it works, clicking on it also works-- I believe you have to tell the browser to not allow redirects...

In Internet explorer 8.0.6001 it also redirected back here if you click on it.... copying and pasting the link in the address bar allowed it to download too....

Google Chrome Browser redirects back here also--- copying and pasting it into the bar allows it to download...

These are on my XP Pro SP3 PC....

This is likely an issue with freewebs as they want you to use there site pages (with ads) rather then using it for rehosting files...

Also for those that may follow the link posted by Randomgtaforumuser.... while that fix probably does work... it is not the same as Demarests fix that I rehosted-- I have no idea if it is safe to use.
