I'd honestly only advise fans of the comics, or even the show, to get this game. It took me a hour or two to beat the first, surprisingly good, episode. I liked the gameplay, it's more less a "point and click" type of game which I'm not a fan of but when you slap 'The Walking Dead' on the screen and throw in a decent story it's entertaining.

For people who have beat it and seen the preview for the next episode, I'm a little curious to see if they might include Daryl or perhaps Meryl as well, seeing how some people were getting attacked by arrows. Just speculation.

There is a demo in case you're not sure if you'd like it or not. I like that it's canon with the comics and has the same art style. It has the same gameplay as Heavy Rain, along with the tension and atmosphere of The Walking Dead. There are lots of choices you can make that affect the story, even just simply talking to other characters and choosing what you say has an affect. Just from the few scenes in the demo, I love it and I am looking forward to buying the full episode in a bit. I recommend you try the demo first before anything, it's great.

I can't wait for season three... I enjoyed every episode that has came out, and the game was not that bad. Also waiting on the seasons of the game to come out. They're suppose to come out every month, but have failed so far.

I just hope they don't wimp out when it comes to (comic spoiler) cutting off Rick's hand. The Governor has the potential to be a great TV character but they've really got to humanize him a bit from the comics - and it seems like they've done so.

I just hope Andrea and Michonne aren't separated from the group for, like, half the bloody season or something. I won't hold my breath, though.

I don't like The Governor. I know a couple other actors who would have fit him perfectly and look like him. It's a shame they didn't cast someone that looks like the comic counter-part, they did it for every other character. And The Governor is a very important character.

Well, the comics character (along with the new baddie, Negan) seemed to be ripped out of an issue of Heavy Metal, and while he was a lot of fun, he was borderline cartoony. Looking like a KISS reject. I like the look of this guy; the old Southern-Gentleman-bait-and-switch-even-though-everyone-knows-it's-coming.

Kirkman said they're not going to do that because it'll limit what Rick could do. He also thinks that it was a mistake for him to do that in the comics for that same reason.

I haven't finished season 2 and honestly, not at all excited for season 3. Such a shame considering the potential this series had. I might finish season 2 before 3 starts and consider 3 but they will have to do so much to get me back into it.

Finish Season 2. It "gets better." I'm just going to assume you think it lost all it's potential because of the lack of action in some of the early episodes. Everyone I know or I've read people complain about the same thing. To me that's what separates The Walking Dead from everything else. It's not all fun and games, or cool living in a zombie apocalypse. People aren't going to go killing infected because they feel like it or any of that. This shows how people will deteriorate and the stress it induces. There is much more to it, and it focuses on the survival and emotion of everyone stuck in this world where the dead outnumber the living.

They killed of one of the best characters, who is a total douche bag in the comics. Shane. Shane and Daryl make the show but we can't have that. Kill the awesome characters, feminize Rick, make Lori a whiny ass bitch and carry the Sophia story on long past its use by date. Also, for a zombie based show, the zombies sure show up conveniently when they are needed, with no f*ckING tension. Like none at all. I end up rooting for the Zombies over the simplistic characters.

I don't give a f*ck if everyone of them dies because the only person worth keeping alive is the racist redneck Daryl, who is less racist and redneck than everyone made him out to be.

You pretty much summed up how I feel. I can hardly take the show seriously anymore, it's practically a guilty pleasure.

After reading Volume 16 - they should meet a survivor or someone who specializes in removed limbs and stuff. Maybe give Rick one of this clipper claws or whatever. At least something to make up for the missing hand.

I really wish they hadn't done it too. Should have been someone who isn't the main character.

i think the argument against it is absurd, and a copout. Kirkman is better than cheap sh*t like that; he's made his bed, he should lie in it.

I'm surprised it's been such a struggle for him to write around, yet Rick hasn't dealt with any of that struggle. Missed opportunity, I guess?

Thought I'd bump this since season 3 will be premiering soon.

Anyone else excited? I was one of the people who actually enjoyed season 2. I'm not an "action freak" which is probably why I enjoyed it. I like a good story that builds up to the action, that way you can feel for the characters when the sh*t goes down. Can't wait to see what The Governor's agenda is going t o be in season 3!
