Well, if I could interject, the Veyron looks like it does for a reason. It's substance over style. It's also still the highest performing production car in the world by just about any measure. So I would be very interested to for you to explain exactly why it "overrated" or "doodoo" other than in your personal opinion? And, for that matter, would you like to justify that opinion?

I don't think there are many Veyron "fan boys" around here either. Most of us are old enough and have been driving long enough to see it for what it is- VAG showboating and demonstrating what they can do given a nearly limitless budget. So your juvenile attempts at insults aren't really that insulting.

Indeed Veyron looks that way mostly because it has to look that way. The huge W16 engine and all those radiators and the areodynamics just have forced to make the car like that. It ain't the prettiest car, but it's not ugly for sure. It's got style, and for a car that travels more then 400km/h, it even has a interior that looks like it's from a normal luxury sportscar. It has even a radio. Things like the Ascari don't have even that, but those are quite simple and pure racing machines.

If I'm honest, I've always preferred the race-style interior on sports cars. It sounds really odd, but I've never really got GT cars. They are basically compromised 4-real-seat bahnstormng 4-door saloons, or softened-up sports cars. I'd rather have one or t'other, personally.

Those were the ugly years. The new Citadel models look amazing. But my favorite will always be my Dad's 02 Durango with the 5.2 liter V8. Had all leather, seat warmers, and it ran like stink with the "straight pipe" exhaust my Dad installed on it. Could tear out of the parking lot while sounding like a muscle car. Was a real beauty that Durango, unlike that piece of crap.

Also, this is the most vile Dodge ever made.

I don't have anything against the newer Durangos, but the first generation is my favorite.

Black plastic bumpers and cladding make vehicles looks so cheap. And they look absolutely horrible once faded. Vehicle color-keyed bumpers look much better than bare black plastic.

Pretty much all of those cars are not ugly, your post is weird in that way. All those cars, except the H3 and X bow, are cheap ways to get quite a good car with average styling from Korea. Sorento is an excellent suv for the city, don't know if suv is the correct phrase tough. Sorento nor the Getz are really not ugly cars, an ugly car is something that looks not boring, but weird. I mean out of balance bodyshapes and weird cornners or something. THese are just ordinary cheap cars.
I do agree on the H3, not a real hummer...quite weird looking too, and a bit on the X bow. Can't say anything on the Tuscon, not really ugly...but nothing really good either.

For you, maybe, but for me these are ugly cars, especially sorento. i don't know why but i hate all them (especially sorento). I also hate all hyundais because of quality. Hyundai is one of the worst cars ever made. Buy it, drive 2-3 years, and see results. They make new models every year, and your car will be outdated and half of your money goes to trash. But elegant cars like BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac are well made. Their price downgrades slowly. That's why i hate all hyundais, especially Tucson...

Um, wrong thread to argue about this, but pretty much all korean carmakers have improved their quality hugely. Kias and Hyundais are at least as good as some german manufascturers nowadays when considering quality. The design of the cars is also improved a lot, the cars look actually so good that you might consider buying them.

Those elegant cars also cost way more then Kias and Hyundais. The Korean cars have gotten more much better over the past few years. Also this outdated crap? Every car maker produces newer models every year! Your car will be outdated in someway regardless of the country of origin in a year. But people don't really care about that, since cars are the second biggest investment a person can make.

Even though this car is slammed and has white lettering tires, I have to say that this car the ugliest Nissan I have ever seen in my life. (And I have seen MANY Nissan in my life, on the internet and in person, but the takes the cake. )

Really too easy to throw anything designed for the military in the topic. Jeeps, FJ's, early patrols, hummers, things, etc are going to be ugly for the sake of simple, cheap manufacturing. Curves cost money and take more time. It's easier and cheaper to stamp flat pieces and get them out quicker.

Also not sure how its type of engine determines how ugly it is.
