In my opinion you should re-do V-rock,i mean, you say that it is a Heavy Metal,Thrash Metal station, but most of the songs aren't from those style of music confused.gif

The roads seen on the map are the MAJOR roads, there will be many other side streets and alleyways to explore.
NOTE: The below maps are not to scale.

It's bigger. Just main roads are seen here.

Great thread, BTW. I love the new VCPR!

"The map is going to be slightly bigger than SA map"

Well those must be some extremely wide roads then in that case. Your towns & road networks are far too small if you want it the same size as SA. Is you blow it up to fit the scale of SA, you'd end up with roads with 15 lanes of traffic.

It was nice to see Vice City radio in the EFLC DLC.

I'd also love to see a GTA Next - VC

In the meantime, perhaps Rock* will do some sort of VC DLC for GTAIV

And in terms of a timeline for a new VC, maybe include something like the BTTF mod which would have VC old, 80's and modern. Or somehow include a 30 or 40 year span for the maps and storyline. Something like that.

- Might make it a bit large but it's some wishful thinking...

The map as a whole will be about the size of SA. But keep in mind that a lot of the Vice City map is water, and the Locke Islands will be some distance away from the mainland. So basically the main landmasses will probably take up about half of the SA map, but they will be longer height-wise.

Anybody who wants to contribute to the story, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

I have a basic idea in mind, feel free to change or add to it: It will revolve around a young man from Liberty City, circa 2011. He works for Yusuf Amir's construction company, and is transferred to Yusuf's regional office in Vice City. He thinks he's getting a promotion, but he is really there to get a hold of Jerry Kapowitz, a former hobo in Liberty City who found a bag of diamonds and opened up a gun shop in Vice City. However, a hurricane restricts access to most of Florida, so he has to stay temporarily in Timucua, doing odd jobs along the way. Eventually the storms in Mercado let up, and eventually storms throughout the rest of the map let up.

MORE INFO SOON, ADD YOUR IDEAS HERE!

I added an image on the main page comparing the map with previous-era games, to show the size.

QUOTE (Diego "DM" Mendez @ Apr 15 2010, 13:11)
What are you doing? We want the old-gen VC, and the same things (expect an airport
at the east island).

The old Vice City was WAY too small. Plus, it was WAY too city oriented allot of people like exploring areas like Back'o'Beond or the desert from San Andreas. I think Rock Star should use the technology they used in Red Redemption (Coming out in late May 2010) in that game there are a vast amount of different animals and plants and the map is also huge. I think Rock star should consider this new idea even though it is still city oriented there is still all of that Florida oceanic natural area to explore.
