Now all weapons have their realistic damage characteristics. The bullets do realistic damage based upon realistic ballistics.

To install, just copy Weaponinfo.xml to “C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data”


Included is the .50 cal AE Chrome Desert eagle. with a chrome skin! The characteristics of the Desert Eagle now match that of a genuine 50 Desert Eagle. Including Muzzle velocity, bullet damage , magazine capacity, and Bullet Force . Enjoy

To install the 50 cal Desert Eagle with Chrome skin :

Use Spark IV or Open IV to replace w-eagle.wtd in the weapons.img located here:

C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\models\cdimages

Can't wait to try this out--I'm a big fan of your sound mod, jclewis, as you know. Best weapon sound mod out there, bar none. One question--does it work with gamepads? Some ballistics mods only work well with mouse and keyboard ...

Your weaponinfo.xml is also well adjusted, it adds a lot more fun than rockstar one.

Im using it with HippieCommunist's Contactmission mod... a real enjoyment !

Installed it and played last night--it's great! A LOT harder--I actually got killed several times trying to complete the mission where you have to shoot all the Mafia members at a construction site ... I love the fact that I'm no longer semi-invincible but actually have to take cover and take care when entering shootouts ... A big improvement!

Thanks Haints... I wish people would play with this but its only available on megaupload because for SOME FREAKIN reason the people at GTA GARAge have STILL not uploaded it.. its been FOUR days.. they are stressing me out. Haints at gtagarage could you write a comment on that page to let those people know that its good. because some people have given it a bad rating just because its not available there.

thankya sir.. and yeah thats why im still playing with 1.04 patch. until the first person mod gets updated. I Cant even play gta third person anymore now.. too used to first person.
