Sure MOST women aren't like that...but it's definitely possible.

However, I also do not believe that Rockstar would use a female protagonist. Being a girl myself, it would be nice to see one, but it's just not very likely.

There's no way a female protagonist would fit into the game unless she was unrealistically tough. Having some smoking hot girl who knows Kung Fu would definitely ruin the game. If not a hot ninja chick, it would probably have to be a realistic butch lesbian like Elizabeta Torres. If you find a balance point between the two then you get...Michelle from GTA IV? She had a somewhat realistic backstory but shes not the type you would imagine shooting guns out of cars and beating up men. What I'm saying is, there is no perfect way to do it so it will probably NEVER happen.

That's a logical fallacy, it brings up the fact that the majority of players are 14-24 year old males... and although you could probably relate better to a male protagonist, since you spend most of the time either looking at the back of a car, or the back of the character then what would you rather look at, dudes ass or chicks ass... Seriously, do I have to point this out? I thought Tomb Raider solved this almost 15 years ago.

Just because it's not common doesn't mean it doesn't happen. In the long run most people aren't shady criminals or murdering lunatics either, but the protagonist has always been one...

Id love to see a female Protagonist. But as Quoted Above it just wont feel the same.I just dont want another game like san andreas (No offence to any GTA SA fans) in the whole gang bang thing yet again like quoted above.

I think GTA as a series is ready to go down the female route. So long as rockstar keep a few things in mind:

The crime world, as stated, isn't big on females, it's an old fashioned sexist world. The story would have to be exceptionally well thought out and written to compensate this.

The character has to be good. Rare for R* to fail at this point, but they'd have to give her a very strong motivation. More so then Niko's Johnny's etc.

They'd have to be tasteful about it, loads of players will dress her like a sl**, R* need to avoid this, but at the same time preventing her from being like a nun. The clothes would be tricky to get right.

And to anyone who says a woman wouldnt be tough enough i have 2 points for you:

1 - child birth
2 - ever p*ssed a woman off? *Cue Lee Evans' joke about women on the front line*
