I haven't copyed your idea, I wasn't aware of your project.
If you want, we can work together as it seems you are advanced in your project.

Your list is not so bad, even if there is some car I would'nt put in my pack.

More than having the perfect list my pack is about having something "clean"
that means I don't want to add cars, just for the pleasure to add cars.
-If there is no good matches I prefer changing the logo and keept the original model.
-I take care of the size of the mods
-I try to avoid the car that have too much bugs
-I try to make the licence plate "uniformized"
-I change the car name

I definitely agree with that, except that in some cases you actually need to know the name of the car in the game. So while it'd be awesome to have the car names in there we'd somehow need to implement the fictional names as well. If I were you I wouldn't touch the names, but if you like to have the real names, my suggestion is to have the fictional name in parenthesis. i.e. Dodge Viper (Banshee).

As for "copying ideas" thing. I'm sure you guys are aware the idea of a car pack dates back to the GTAIII days to say the least. There's been countless attempts at making good car packs but most fail miserably for reasons that led you guys to make your own.

A collaboration would be amazing and would lead to great results if you guys can do that. I'm sure there'll be instances when one of you insists on something that the other disagrees on, in which case, since this is all public, you can put that on the forum and we can research it, back up the most rational decision and go with it, OR, skip it and continue working on whatever is there that you guys agree on, so at the very end of the road each person can make their own decision and release their own version of the car pack.

I don't see why we need the original names in parenthesis?
When I say I change the name, I will change all the name, even in the dialogue part.
so when Brucie ask you to rob a Turismo, he will ask you to rob a Ferrari.
Yes I know, there is stil the voice, but I've not planned to redone that.

The "low poly thing" is not the most important, caus' even with my *well optimized pack* you will have the "taxi bug"
I'm still waiting for a solution to that problem, and I think it will come.

(do not use the supra i tryed that supra tuned and stock there is one problem however 2 door and 4 door they won't work in missions they are in my old pack with amazing handling but i got comments saying they didn't work in missions so the evo 4 and lancer x has simularities for example the evo 4 is stock looking the lancer x is very rare in real life and there about the same sultan > sultan rs they need to have the same look rs needs to be more rare and tuned up

This part catch my attention, because I want my pack to be playable with the original game. I'm surprised by this bug, but I will take a look at that.
Mitsubishi evo was my first choice, but here's why I don't put the Mitsubishi in my pack:
-Sultan perfect replacement is clearly the lexus IS300
-The mitsubishi you've put for the sultanRS haven't got licence plate, and it's very important to me.
-I haven't found a mitsu that fits the game correctly (I mean in graphic quality), even if the one you put for the sultan is pretty good (that was my first choice)

I have allready put this car in my pack but I've made a bit of mork on it:
-redone licence plate (as I could, because of the europeean format)
-redone carcol to avoid too much golden metal color.

But there is still some bug with that car, like the invisible trunk, the normal map bug on rims, and some glitch on brakes lights.

I really want us to work together, but I don't care about your name/video/subscriber thing, I'm doing this pack for my pleasure, I working a lot on that (testing, selecting, talking, texturing, renaming, etc)
and I really don't think about that kind of stuff.
my greatest dream is to create a sort of emulation in the vehicle modding scene and to have people who care about making perfect things (I don't know why I think about salavey at this time )
I would love to have a modder who, by seeing my pack, will update a bug found on his mod and provide us an updated version.

allready explained, I will not make two version.
Because as soon as you replace a few car of the game, you will have the taxi bug, even whith optimized mod (cause every modders are not stiopa or salavey)
I don't understand the problem of using a vehicleshare? can you be more specific?
my pack is also using a vehicle share, (original one + stiopa addition + my modification) I don't see the problem.
actually, vehicleshare is the solution to most of our problem, if only modders could use more vehicleshare textures...

I'm allready making unique licence plate to all car I add.
I'm allready changing the name of the car, and you can't do that with a text editor. you need a tool named "gxt editor".

reventon is typicaly the kind of car I want to add, like the bugatti veyron, but I will do that in the end...

No problem, I'm also working on my pack since month, way before this post, and that's my turn to seems angry!
I've tried your pack, and I hope it is a really early beta version!

The cons:
There is what? 15 - 20 car modded? and most of them has russian/european/tuning licence plate. nothing seems to be optimized.
by the way, there is a huge (and funny) bug with the car you put as a replacement to landstalker. (car destroy itself everytime it spawn)
Sorry to be so rude, but that beta version is the perfect exemple of what I don't want to make!

The pros:
it seems handling have be worked a bit.
I've noticed the mercedes C280 as a replacement of solair, and I say "why not?"
I've also noticed the ford thunderbird witch is fun to drive, I will try to find her a place.





I hope my answer will not make you mad at me , I really want you to be part of the team.
If you work with us, you will have all the credit you deserve, and you'll can do your own version of the pack if you want.
but remenber, this pack is not mine or yours, it's the work of the guys who made the cars, that why I attach great care in having the permission from all the original authors.
