Brendan Rodgers is one smug, self-satisfied arsehole. Up there with Pardew on the c*nt list.

Bought myself a Juve kit. I wanted one for a long time... Finally bit it because Del Piero is retiring or leaving the club. It seems quite a few had the same idea, because his shirt was sold out on two stores. I ended up buying a Pirlo one.

Apparently RVP has signed for United today and also captain's Arsenal later on in their game, someone is telling porkies.

Still seems strange United paying that money for a 29 year old, dunno why they didn't go for someone younger even after failed Lucas bids. They still deffo need a quality CM to replace Scholes. Maybe this is just a short term fix for Fergie to get at least one more title before he retires, after that it's not really his problem.

As for El Plastico/MoneyBowl, then 2-1 Citeh.

Very bad move for his career and development, he's got something about him but it's fair to say he has not yet lived up to his potential as of yet. Can't see where he will be getting a decent amount of game time at City. Could end up as one of those forgotten players.

I'm hearing an 18M fee as well, like most British youngsters he's not worth that. A nice tidy sum of money for Moyes to work his magic though if Kenwright doesn't sew his pockets up.

Hey, I think its GREAT business. How many memerable games can you remember having for us? He had a spell of about 3 games, the rest of the time hes been gash! 15-18m? if that gets re-invested, excellent.

In truth mate i'm glad it's Rodwell and not another top player, good move if it's 15-18M but i'll reserve judgement until i see a fee. I wasn't pissed off with that mate, i was pissed off with the club since they tweeted last week "Rodwell and Barkley in midfield tonight #homegrown #futurelooks bright" then today some bell on twitter posted 'breaking news on the OS to come soon' and it turns out that this exciting news is us selling another player. It's a good move mate no doubt (for us not rodwell i dont think) but the way our club portrays itself is f*cking embarrasing.

Well of course it all depends on how much of the transfer Moyes gets. hearing it could go to 20m in add ons too.
The club are not being pestered by the bank as they were last year, also a few wages off the books should make us be able to bring in a couple of new players. Cahill was taking 75k a week, we still paid some of Yobo's wages, now 35k a week saved on Rodwell.

I feel sorry for the lad because he aint gona get played that often.

man utd paying 15m for RVP is a bargain , regardless of age. I remember when 29 was seen as your prime . paying 15 for Joe Allen meanwhile makes the signing of downing seem astute

I don't think RVP will go to Man Utd, in fact I can guarantee he won't. Especially for 15million.

These rumors are just rumors. I don't even want him at United to be honest.

Pretty bad tackle, maybe a red was harsh though.

Not been too impressed with Hazard so far!

The ref got that spot on aswell, two footed tackle with his studs up. No question about it really.
