United are also making a high bid for RVP. I wouldn't even want him at United. I don't think he will be played much as he would not be able to replace Rooney and I can't see them working particularly well together. Although saying that, I'd rather see him at United than at City.
Not fussed on him anymore myself. Think it might be a case of "Get him so they don't have him". Wouldn't worry me if he went to United, Vinnie always has him in his back pocket anyway
Also fair play to United if they get Lucas. Lotta potential there.

Transfer windows are terrifying for Evertonians Glad you lot are having fun kinda.
You've picked up Pienaar and Naismith, which by the way Naismith good pick
OK you lost Cahill (which on a selfish point of view is good as he always scored against us) but for you guys is bad, but I'm sure that Pienaar and Naismith will make up for that, plus you guys got Jelly-Vich in January, he's gonna be awesome for you guys next season.
I don't really know what to say about that match, apart from "how the f*ck did United now score?" Nani played crap like always and there were no good finishing touches from anyone really. Welbeck was definitely the best player on the pitch.
Also some crap decisions from the ref....

A friend (who is a woman so her knowledge of football can be questioned) mentioned that RVP would be staying this last season with the Gunners... how true is that? I haven't been able to find much on the "confirmation"that he'd stay so please enlighten me. If he did stay I think it would be a bad move for them since he would become one year older and his sale price would most likely drop a bit; and Arsenal still needs to find a way to pay for the 40M they bought all those new guys with. Haha
Racism is always going to play a part in football unfortunately. Some people are just jealous and act like tw*ts. Gael Clichy handelled it really well and responded with a bit of humuor which is great to see.
Usain Bolt makes me laugh. He wants a trial for United. I don't think he is being entirely serious but it's great to see he is a fan. I've never even seen him play football if I'm honest.

Arsenal are playing hardball on the RVP transfer. They're holding out for £30m but with one year left on his deal neither City, Juve or United want to stump up the cash. In the mean time he's training with Arsenal and the closer it gets to next Saturday - plus the fact we've signed Cazorla, with Sahin on the way - it looks increasingly likely he'll stay. This may only be 'til January or next summer but hey, there'll be someone else. Giroud & Podolski are great signings.
