Guys, I had a dream... Since you have powerful convert tools... Perhaps...

You can place that Palm Tree at the right XYZ place, with right texture offset, with right size and right angle?! x)

I've been wondering that, when I remember how that went on this thread tounge.gif

I'd like to know how SilentPL's work is going, since converting maps, textures and models doesn't seems to be a problem now tounge.gif ... It would be great to convert the script from the original VCS, but that's just impossible confused.gif ... Silent, how you do the cutscenes? They were perfect on beta 2 monocle.gif ...

Video games are produced from computing, and computing is logic... It is possible to convert that scripts. the difficulty is to find how, then program a tool that do it automatically. So better they write their own, they have the skills smile.gif

I really don't think I can automate the script conversion more. It's now down due to differences between SA and pre-SA task systems mostly.

These ARE converted, unlike the mission script.

Is SA system very different from VCS for PS2? There are many programmers that create missions for SA... I think the script missions are now the biggest problem, am I right? If someone could create a script importer tounge.gif ...

It would be cool to see LCS on pc too. LCS PC edition was abandoned, I think. I never saw any updates since 2009. The cutscenes were really messed up alien.gif . But VCS PC edition is going more than well.

Silent, on my pc sometimes on the cutscene with Vic and Phil their mouth got an error, is this a known bug dozingoff.gif ?

The bug mouth happens here too, guess it's because of SA's mouth moving thing (which i don't really like lol).

So yeah, as you may noticed, i managed to get the new version working, played missions and got AMUSED with the cutscenes and missions, they're great! Looking foward to more, and good luck!

As far as I know, mouth bug was a minor rigging issue and it's fixed already. But I guess it's not a reason to release a HOTfix? moto_whistle.gif

No, it's not vital for keep playing it... BTW, have you already done new missions? I think Domo Arigato Domestoboto will be a good challenge in the future...

Not impossible, but speaking from experience (as I wrote most of GTA3 to VC) it is difficult and takes a lot of time. Luckily Silent is a lot more knowledgeable about the scm than I ever was.

It's also honest to god boring having to constantly test and check and fix, I only helped test the missions but damn, it got to the point where I could recite the first 4 missions word for word, I can only imagine what Silent was seeing! tounge.gif
