V3.1 Update (Part 2)

Well here is the first picture of Part 2 of my updates, as you can see I have modeled a bit of land to replace the messy chunks that were previously there, more updates still to come.

Thanks Prince I hope that someone does approach me, and again thanks for posting in the topic, as you can see it is pretty quite and without other people posting in it I tend to lack of posting updates, or I will wait a couple days and then Double post otherwise the topic will just die.

I have finished what will become a little trashy gang area.

Below is the first picture of what will become a new Police Station, what you can see below is the underground car park for it, and the rest will be built around that one model, I have no plans to make an interior to the station at present but It is something I would consider to do in the future. (Car park based on the one at the Washington Marina)

Thanks, I do not really feel that it is in a stage that will show enough to make me both producing a video, possibly when I got more of the area done I will but until then it is just Images.


Attention:

Future Releases of GTA Police Stories will now incorporate this Map into the mod and now as this Map is rebuilt I will try and make it more suitable towards the Police Stories story line, presently Map updates will continue to be posted here until a decision is made.

V3.1 Update (Part 2)

Here is just a small mapping update, I have finished the VCPD/FDVC HQ and think it is fine but there is no doubt that I will update and change it in the future, I have also decided to add a small dock to the new coast line I am creating along the edge there, I have got the VCPD/FDVC model in game but am still yet to get the rest of the coast including the Dock in game yet for testing, I took a rough estimate of the waters height relative to the dock so I might have to make a few corrections.

how about adding door for those interiors that you cant go inside? like ken's office, that bar in downtown etc..

also, i really suggest you to play vcs, so you can get thousands of ideas for map. (i would love to see vcs's little haiti in your mod. because its expanded by rockstar, and would fit great in your mod!)

Secondly, Yeah I have VCS, I did not think that it had too many ideas for the mod, if you could point some out that would be fine, if you have played the mod before (Latest Version) you would see that my Haiti areas all need a good fixing up as it is mostly a mess.

I might make some doors for the Interiors in a future version, for now it is just updating and cleaning the mess I have made with the map.

i would suggest you to use these ideas i took from vcs:

- a little wooden bridge between little haiti and military base/airport area
- little docks, just like you did, but much more of them. (vcs has like 25/30 of them because of the really short swimming function)
- placing bus stops (that never used in final version by rockstar) - model and the texture for bus stops is exist in the final game
- at least 20 new interiors. (you would only have to make like 10 different interiors, and use them like vcs' interior system)
- i would really love to see vcs' car colours on the original vc. because they are vivid, and sometimes oversaturated.. but they fit perfectly in vc.

i hope those would help you.

Thanks for your suggestions, here is my breakdown of each thing, judging by the bridge comment I think you might not have played my mod before but that is Ok. (MooMapper Image Of West Island)

1. (Wooden Bridge) - That whole area has been redone since the first release of GTA Most Modded so there is no place for the bridge to begin with.

2. (Docks) - I will place more docks around the city but not as many as VCS has.

3. (Bus Stops) - I have used that model in an older version of the game but it was quite low quality, I could possibly remake it in the future but for now I will just add the Bus Stop Signs.

4. (Interiors) - Interiors are something that I would love to add in and since this mod is going to be the base map for the Police Stories Mod more interiors are a must.

5. (Vehicles) - At present when I include cars again I plan to use the Vehicles from Xbox Vice City, which is a mod of mine (Originally started by yojo2) I would like to use them and also my customized vehicles like the Romero Ute, VC Premier, Belmont, Regal, Regal Taxi, Civilian Hotrings, etc.

V3.1 Update (Part 2)

Here is the model of where the Petrol Station is located I am going to remodel the bridge that is located next to it after the bridge is complete I will release the Pack 2 Update.

Not at the moment, I have been busy with school and deciding on what I will do next year to further my studies but I will try to get the new bridge working then I will release pack 2 update.

V3.1 Update (Part 2)

I have finally fixed a bug that had held me back from releasing this update, for some reason the game would crash on my and I have now solved it, here is the Bridge that I was talking about in previous posts and just a shot of what has been done, do note that in this release there may still be gaps in the ground and flickering where objects intersect, I am aware of a small collision problem but that will be fixed in Update Part 3, Download links should be live in a few hours if not less on the GTA Most Modded site, and in an unknown amount of time on GTA Garage, check for links in the First Post of this topic, you will need to have "V3.1 Beta" & "Update Part 1" installed already, the links can be found in the first post.

When The File has been posted Links will appear in the First Post in this Topic.

Also Note That I have got Paths Working in my new areas and the Cross Town Tunnel. (Thanks to Maxorator's Path Limit Hack)

V3.1 Update (Part 3)

Here is the first land update for Part 3, it is the location of the old Fuel station and bus bit, I plan to expand the land to the right of this area.

Also keep an eye out for these around Vice City, I have modeled several different models of the Building and plan to put them around VC, I originally made this for the GTA SOL so you might see them appear in that in the future.

V3.1 Update (Part 3)

Here is the start of the added new land, I begun by remodeling a new surroundings for the Military Base, which gives me the option to expand the base in the future, I am still not sure what I will put on the other new chunk of land yet to be created, perhaps an Industrial Area as having Residential or Commercial near a Military Base is probably not a fantastic idea.

Also Come On People, you need to post in here too, i just cant fill the topic post after post by me updating the mod, so feedback would be nice and also would space apart updates from me so they are not one after another, and on that note, more updates to come soon.

The Plan is to use this map for the Police Stories Mod (Link In My Sig) and any new areas are scratch built but may have some Buildings stolen from other parts of the City, When I get the basic land layout complete I will go through and model more buildings of my own to replace ones stolen from the City

This mod is brilliant, just too fking bad that I am late to say that you had to expand Vice City only by real Miami counterpart. Like adding realistic suburbia, swamps and docks.

Thanks, have you actually played the mod, if so you will see that I have a lot of space still to use and a lot of space to rebuild on that I have used in versions prior to V3, basically any changes I have made to the map (Before V3) will be completely removed, rebuilt, or replaced over V3.1 Updates. So the possibilities of your suggestions can still be implemented in the Future.

Here are the IG's of that new land mass, turned out perfect, I might just finish some roads and Generic objects then Release Update 3, and move onto 4.

Just make sure you install the Base V3.1, then Update 1 followed by Update 2, If you have not installed the mod at all I might release Update 3 as a Full game Incorporating the Base and last 2 releases, would you rather that.

What were you planning on helping with?
