So, what do you earn, when you finish all the car lists in all 3 citys?
1st island had it at the docks. 3rd next to a road and I donīt remember where the garage was in the 2nd island So 2 questions for you, to answer
There's no import/export garage on Staunton Island. All you get when you collect all the cars in either garage is the ability to go into the garage and select any of the cars you collected. There's nothing special beyond that for getting all of them.
Remember there's also the emergency vehicle import/export on Portland, towards the back of the docks area
So whatīs with the Observatory in SSV? On sites Iīve looked maps and the observatory is marked on it, but I remember that I didnīt get to it and other people have said that they have tried getting there, but they fall into the ground (?) or smth like that. So my question is: Is it possible to get to the Observatory?
The highest part of the hill isn't solid, so there's no chance to land there without modding your game. And you can't reach it with the Dodo plane, because it can't fly that high.

Its not that. Use dodo to fly to the hill and fly through the middle part hill between of portland and staunton island and you can see that the hill is transparent.
I got interested in cheating when I realised there was no way to collect the package in the Portland subway station. I learned how to make a car fly and gain access to Staunton & Shoreside Vale.
Apart from the normal gameplay and starting a war with the cops. learning to fly the two Dodo's parked on the airport is the next best thing to do. Annoyingly the thing has a max height restriction that prevents you from flying past Donald Love's rooftop garden. It (the garden) is not solid anyway.
On the hills of Shoreside there are cliffs that prevent you from getting to the observatory. I assume the land is not solid anyway & therefore the observatory isn't either. I haven't investigated the observatory. From memory it is near Wichita Gardens. I think it is higher than the max height above sea level the Dodo can manage. The "Handling .cfg file has lines for"DEADDODO" and "HELI". There is no flyable helicopter in the game& apparently no full-wing Dodo as well.
The lighthouse nr Portland Docks is solid. However, as you can't get out of the Dodo when it is moving the plane falls off the rock into the sea.
Doing things you shouldn't be able to do in GTA is great fun
You don't need to use button cheats to visit the other islands (and the subway system) early in the game. You can either try to do a standing sprint-jump from the broken girder that hangs on the North side to the pipe on the other end of the bridge (which CAN be done)...or, take advantage of the iffy collisions and run there (by poking your body through the ceiling of the subway or Porter tunnel, or falling through a solid or water surface to do the same).
I prefer to use an ambulance in the Porter Tunnel to jump through the ceiling. Fairly quick to set up, and less-risky of landing in water like other methods.
Once you have the IE garage completed, you can just take a Dodo from there whenever you want.
BTW you can visit a full-wing Dodo flying slowly at ground level (but only by using a certian mission). One circles the islands for Donald Love's "A Drop In The Ocean". If you can finish that mission fast enough, go visit the roads that are behind the airport. The Dodo (flying in from the Western hills) will be slowly following the surrounding road from the helipad until it disappears near the hangar featured in his next following mission. You can run or drive alongside it or through it, but it is not enterable. You can even get a raised wanted level for blowing it up with grenades or rockets - just like the regular one that circles the islands. Other weapons will have no effect.
I am going to buy the trilogy for PC (includes III, Vice City and San Andreas), if I'm patching my game will I have to copy the audio from the play disc in my installation folder?
Also, I am thinking of buying the Xbox double pack (III and Vice City) even though I don't have an Xbox, will it run on any 360 with an HDD?
I was told that you can beat the height restriction on the Dodo by flying in a tight circle. However, I have not been able to gain enough height to over-fly the Observatory or Donald Love's roof-top garden. Neither are corporeal anyway. Some roof-tops on Staunton are hard, like the police station & the mall. The ghost town is entirely transparent. There's a cheat that puts a hard surface under it. It is far more rewarding to learn to fly the Dodo there. I have tried a lot of times to crash a Dodo onto the cut-scene floor of the Panlantic tower with no joy. Staunton is more fun in the Dodo, you can fly down the streets if you are careful.
You can easily get to Staunton & Shoreside without a cheat code at the start of the game. Just take a car to the promenade above the closed off tunnel & carefully reverse it over the edge. As the wheels drop over the edge disembark from the vehicle. If you are lucky you find yourself on top of the tunnel. Follow it to the first junction & jump off the side. You re-spawn by the side of the road. From there the tunnels are open & traffic-free. I prefer to drive a car through the subway tunnels, it's more direct. You may see the glitch Cartel Cruiser if you have the PC version.
Where the hell can you go to that puts you in a position to be able to shoot the full-wing dodo with the bazooka? I thought it was just a ghostly shell like the planes on the tarmac that taxi about.

This is only partly true. There are patches on Donald's rooftop and the Ghost Town that are solid, but it requires flying at a correct angle, at a correct speed and from a correct direction to be able to land there. Plus, you'll need to know the exact locations of those solid patches. It requires skill.
I tried to add some new vehicles by downloading them and extracting from .rar files, pasted the exact files in related folders where my GTA Vice city installed but when I opened .exe file, it showed error in opening. What should I do for adding mods in my GTA vise city?
