In America (R*'s largest single market), if there was a game played by teens in the 1950s with prostitutes (and it somewhat showed them f*cking like in GTAIV), there would be violent mobs in the streets. Fast forward 60 yrs. to now and it is no big deal at all. Expect the same with pixels representing children.



I predict babies and children will be kill-able in video games in the next 60 yrs. anyway (society gets very liberal very fast), so I wouldn't get my panties in a twist because you'd be setting yourself up for major disappointment.

Edit: Maybe they could not be killable, like if you shoot them, they go away and nothing happens...

Im guessing The rich part of town Will have Rich Women with some dog in her purse (Hopefully it sh*ts all over her bag).Random dogs.Mid class will have random dogs maybe a few cats.The Ghetto/rundown parts will have strays or Giant ass Dogs and strays? Animals would be nice, I mean, there are animals in Red Dead Redemption so why not in GTA? Give the police a K9 unit, that would make things a lot more interesting.

I voted for both, so also children would be nice. But if there would be children in the game I would put them in a school where you cannot draw a weapon, because slaughtering children is a bit weak though I don't have a problem with it because they are just some pixels after all.

putting children into a game like GTA would be the type of move that would get it banned in numerous countries.

Animals could work though, they did get a bunch into RDR, so who knows?

I wouldn't mind having kids in the game, but I don't play as a total psychopath either. I stopped doing that in IV because it made sense with the character and story of Niko. I don't believe this videogame-violence breeds real life-violence nonsense for one second. I have a lot more problems with a game like call of duty, that glorifies the military but refuses to show blood, impact on civilians or explain the conflict than anything that happens in GTA.

But kids are not essential. But I do want something more interesting to kill in V, dogs being walked, housecats. No animals would be a big disappointment. And they should make peds more interesting to kill. More complex AI, where they have day routine etc.
