ooh yes more ford wheels, and they look like easy ones too, i will add them to my list.

eta on the wheels, well i could release a partial pack i suppose if you are in a rush to pimp your ford, i have a bit of work over the next few days, but i will try to finish some stuff this week. (including some wheels and the capri - then i am building a beastly volvo.. details coming soon)

at a guess, i think i should have a pack of wheels released in the next month. if there is no visible progress, feel free to remind me

and FlatFace, don't tempt me to add more polys.. i get carried away sometimes when making things..
(i have tried to keep the poly count down on these wheels, i think the most poly heavy one is ~7k, but most are about 4k polys per wheel, unless you add my uber-detailed tyre, then the game will die )

Nice wheels man, i love the old school designs and the fact that you are doing real classics. That Ford cloverleaf is sweet, and I also love the iron cross.

If you are still looking for wheels requests I have always wanted someone to make an AZEV type A. Not a Ford wheel for sure, but I had a set of these on my mk2 VW Golf back in the mid-nineties and i still love the look.
And they look pretty good on Fords too .

hmm they are quite nice, they might fit into the pack. i have saved the picture and the name, so they are a possibility

i am working on a volvo at the moment (lol) see my website for a link.
i still have to finish version 2.1 of the capri (a few bugs fixed & more textures, now with beautiful handling thanks to Vladimir_91)

the wheel pack will be finished fairly soon too, and will include OZ superturismos as well as most of the wheels so far in this thread

As you can see in these pictures in the link are much better then those Escort GTI wheels becuase they are deeper and fatter rims.

These wheels are come from the Ford Escort Cosworth, the Escort GTI wheels are just more rubbish looking then the Cosworth wheels!


I do however have one possible car for you convert if possible

its the same wheel and i know that because i got it from the same site and the gti and cosworth are the same as the gti were designed by cosworth, people just give them the nick name of cosworth as they are found on the escort cosworth, they were designed 4 the mondeo cosworth gti which was never released with the cosworth or gti name due to the trouble the escort had, so no there the same

Its been a week or 2, but i am back with yet another wheel for the collection.

This time an OZ SuperTurismo GT.
it might come in a different colour, and will probably not have the Volvo "Prancing Moose" on the centre cap when it gets released.

thanks i have had a couple of weeks off wheels, making the ridiculous Volvo, and tidying up the capri.

the capri is just about to be updated on GtaGarage.com in the next couple of days, with beautiful new handling,
also the Capri has been converted to "GT Legends" buy a guy called Hubert. download for that will appear soon too, its going through beta testing at the moment

plenty more wheels to come, and hopefully a release soon (as soon as i can be bothered to stick them all together and make them all the same size etc).

Whats wrong with you, I just explained the differences but you can't even be bothered read and compare the Cosworth and the GTI wheels!

The escort GTI wheels are 16 inch and the cosworth wheels are 18 inch.

I have seen both wheels on a escort GTI (Escort cosworth on the rear and Escort GTI wheels on the front)

Let me assure you they are not the same!

hey guys, got a quick question seeing as you guys know about modding wheels etc.... ive been playing with modding for a while now n learning what i can from you all but im stuck on how to enable all cars to accept new wheels!! ive got a ton of modded vehicles in my game but cant work out how to enable them all to accept new wheels either at transfender or via zaz's pimp my car simple edition cleo mod????? plz plz plz anyone??!! P.S. i know this may be in the wrong post etc but first time poster!! SORRY if i F***ed up!! thanx for your time! OH and some of my modded vehicles do accept new wheels, just some that arent.... Thanx again!!!!!!!!!!

nice tyre pics, i will save those now and might use them at some point, i have almost finished the volvo now, so wheels will be finished next i think.

i put some wheels into gta last night, but they were the wrong way round and 10 metres across, so i have some work to do to get them all sorted...

mavrik, this isn't really the place to ask,
but i think you can change which wheels go on which cars using one of the data files, by just editing some lists.
i cant remember which one though.
also, i think you can edit one of the last numbers in vehicles.ide, that might fix it for you...
i do know the answer is somewhere here on gtaforums, just search around a bit, its there somewhere

i know, double post, naughty naughty... lol
but i just released 5 wheels (and deleted the files for my old nasty wheels)
see the first post in this thread for a link to gtagarage.com to download.

The wheels included in the download are:
Rays Volk - white 6 spoke
BBS - updated a bit
Borbet - 5 spoke, not sure of name
Spiess - 8 holes/spokes not sure of name
OZ SuperTurismo - anthracite, more colour options will be added at some point
