Missions that gave me trouble :- ---------------------------------------- Russian Revolution Blow Your Cover Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend Catch The Wave Kept failing all the above missions 'cos the other guy took ages to catch up, or kept getting in the way and getting wasted !!!! Other missions that gave me grief ----------------------------------------- The Snow Storm - initially tried to shoot my way past all the N.O.O.S.E. cops, but kept going the wrong way into a dead end, so eventually when I got the bag of coke, I threw about 4 grenades down the corridor, waited for them all to explode, then just ran down the corridor, then out of the building to a waiting boat..... Undress To Kill - Kept getting killed when it seemed as if EVERYBODY was shooting at me, but eventually stocked up on molotovs before going to the club, then, once i'd used the knife on the first manager in the office, used a molotov on the second manager, threw a few more molotovs around the place, then threw a couple of molotovs at the booth just in time to nail the third manager as he lumbered towards the back door. Still get killed, but not before Autosave kicks in !!!! Final Interview - Tried to shoot my way past the cops before i realised that all i had to do was jump out the window behind the lawyer i'd just shot, and evading the cops was easy after that !! All of Packie's missions - all those crazy shootouts !! Museum Piece - Kept getting wasted in the car chase, so once i'd cleared out the museum and shot the goons at the entrance, i hid behind those cars parked outside the entrance, and shot out the other cars that would have chased me. Undertaker - Once this mission managed to load (finally), i kept losing the coffin out of the hearse on the way to the cemetary, so, on subsequent attempts, i just left the hearse alone, hid in the alleyway opposite the church, and picked off all the enemy cars as they came into view, then came the easy run to the cemetary...... Entourage - Once again, was getting killed in the car chase, so next time(s), after the first shoot-out, got in the car with Jefferson, drove to an alleyway in Little Italy, parked at one end of the alleyway, and while the chasing cars all gathered together (very conveniently) at the other end of the alleyway, a couple of RPG's soon sorted them out !!!! Dining Out - Even though i cleared all vehicles out of the car park at the rear of Mr Fuk's, Kim still managed to find a car from somewhere to get away, i used a couple of larger vehicles (bus, trashmaster, etc.,) to block off the car park, and when Kim tries to do a runner, he gets stuck trying to drive one of those large vehicles, or i catch him up while he is trying to 'jack a passing car !! Still unable to complete: ---------------------------- A Revenger's Tragedy - when Jacob's chopper appears, that f*cking so-called 'speedboat' is simply NOT QUICK ENOUGH to reach the marker before the chopper flies off !!!!

The mission that immediately comes to mind is Snow Storm; When I first played through GTA IV, that was the first one to really give me trouble. Getting to the coke was easy, but I would always get crushed by the police. When I finally did get past it and everything, the end was Michelle revealing herself to be undercover (which was actually a surprise to me because I really hadn't paid any attention to her) and taking the coke, so it was like after all of that trouble I lost anyways.
Worthy of Mention:
Any mission that you need to set up an meeting at a specific time is annoying; I don't like the whole thing where you have to designate a specific time to go there.
Hating the haters because it was just an annoying mission in general, even though it wasn't hard.
To Live and Die in Alderney, because I'm stuck in the car with that guy who won't stop talking about how sorry he is and also because the entire car chase with Phil felt way too scripted. I liked the rest of the scripted car chases in the game, they were actually kind of fun, but this one just didn't feel right.
And finally, if you choose Deal, the very last mission in the game is one I dislike very much as a result of my last run through the GTA IV storyline. The differences between it and the one you do with Revenge are relatively minor, but they can really made a difference. The worst thing ever is when you get into the boat as fast as possible, and then before you can even get it moving, a rocket comes out of nowhere and blows you up.

Oh, boy, ain't THAT the truth......... A rocket straight from Dimitri's chopper !! Sometimes, I forget to look out for a rocket once I get going in that boat, and end up driving straight into its path Also, sometimes when Niko drops into the water, there are 2 boats waiting there. When Niko climbs into the nearest boat, a rocket comes along and totally takes out the other boat !!!! I think those slight delays make all the difference in the subsequent pursuit of Dimitri's chopper. After watching a vid of that mission, it looks like i'll have to hone my 'copter flying skills anyways, as there are some pretty nifty moves going on between those skyscrapers !! Trespass. Worst mission ever because you have to run after that fat ************ before he gets away but it's so dark in that stupid factory you pretty much have to memorize where all the guys trying to shoot you are so you can kill them quickly before the big fat **** gets away. (if you don't they'll kill you before you can run by them all, and the all have automatic rifles or smgs) To make things 100% more annoying, the area that triggers him running away is right at the top of a narrow pathway leading upward, so if you aren't careful you fall down to the floor below and then you're really ****** because there's not enough time to run back up and kill everyone and run down the fat ****. To make things another 100% more annoying you can get in a good shot at the fat ************ when you first trigger him running away but he can't be killed until he gets to the roof no matter how many AK rounds to the head or RPGs you shoot up his fat miserable *******. So ****** annoying.
GTA IV did a good job for the most part of getting rid of the godawful pull your hair out and gouge your eyes out missions (remember the VC one where you had to pilot the model airplanes into the moving vans?) but one thing they need to get rid of is the 'your target is invincible until some preset trigger' missions. The game should reward being quick or clever enough to kill a target before you're 'supposed to' kill him, it's limiting and stupid, plus no one should ever be allowed to survive an RPG to the face.
I actually thought Three Leaf Clover was one of the best missions in the game. It's challenging but all you have to do is bring plenty of firepower, RPGs, grenades and anything else you got and it becomes pretty easy. The part were you have to move through the streets reminds me of the downtown shootout scene in Heat.

Trespass from GTA IV, because it is near impossible to spot in the dark without memorizing their locations or autoaim (it doesn't help that they are wearing black suits, either).
The most annoying one from the Episodes was 'In the Crosshairs', at least if you do it at night, because then, there is one sniper that is nearly impossible to spot at night, and that's the one you are facing when you reach the roof. And after that, you have to fight your way through like 30 russians, armed with MGs, AKs and Shotguns, and there are some snipers, too. 'Party's Over' was hard too, but at least you knew where the enemies came from and had some cover.
