If its anything like Far Cry 2, the SP will be horrible. | I think it's hard to criticise the general idea of the FC2 single player. It was convoluted in places, the AI was impossibly perceptive yet irritatingly stupid, and some of the missions were a bit generic, but it's non-linear attitude to combat was brilliant. I think I played through the game about 3 times, and never completed a single mission the same way. One time picking off targets from afar, one time setting traps with IEDs, one time sneaking in a with silenced weapons...it encouraged creativity and inventive thinking whilst actively discouraging straight-up run-and-gun (especially at higher levels) and very few games do that.

If you are the type of gamer that likes to be creative, DO WHAT YOU WANT and make your own decisions and not have someone hold your hand or tell you what to do, then you will have really enjoyed FC2 SP, sure it had a few problems but what game doesn't? I hope they keep the open world and creativity in FC3 ,so far it looks a bit too linear and focused. MP so far just looks wank, again developers copying another game instead of being creative.
