I have just done a number of drag races against the police stinger e.g. the comet,infurnace,sultan rs.
It has beaten the sultan rs by 6 the infurnace by 4 and the comet by 3.5 car lengths it really is fast.
We had a drag race against the new super cars vs the old.
bulit gt wins against the turismo the f620 but the coquette beat the bulit gt.
The infurnace beats the coquette and the comet beats the infurnace by a length.

The only car thing we havent tried is the infurnace with poped tires.

Also the civilian buffalo wins against the police/fib buffalo.

Sorry for asking but I have no idea, sounds like you've been playing multiplayer, is it some MP exclusive vehicle?

The police stinger is a super fast police car... and yes its exclusive to MP

The Police Stinger, according to the game's files, has the overall highest top speed of any land vehicle with a speed of 223 mph.

The sultan RS is pathetically slow compared to it with a top speed of only 186 mph. Its acceleration is the only thing that gives it any advantage against the other fast cars.

The Bullet GT's top speed is 221 mph.

The Super Diamond and Super Drop Diamond's top speeds are 220 mph.

The civilian buffalo's top speed is 200mph.

The Infernus' is 212 mph.

The comet's is 215.

The coquette and turismo's are both 214.

The double T custom's is 205.

Hell even the Stretch E limo is faster with a top speed of 187 mph.

Acceleration is almost everything in a drag race, though. But technically there are many faster cars than the Sultan RS.

the sultan is over rated and never use it for races. and it sucks that the stinger is only in FM but, its all good.

I disagree.

If I were to pick a car for all around stats I would pick the Turismo. I usually don't spin out with it, it's fast, and fairly easy to control. I have beaten Infernus drivers, Comets, Super GT, and Sultan RS when using this vehicle. I don't win EVERY time but it sure is good enough that I tend to stick with it in most cases.

Who else agrees?


P.S. Really want Eflc. Maybe soon but RDR comes out 27th...

Well, the Infernus or Bullet GT probably has the best all-around stats. Bullet GT has excellent braking (Better than the Buffalo?). I guarantee you wouldn't win with a Turismo against me

By far, IMO the Turismo is the best vehicle in handling and good enough speed... That's just MY opinion though, so don't start flaming...

for sports an exotics, i usally use the comet and banshee for most cases. but i agree that the sultan is a last choice.

You know that there is a page that could have told you this stuff right? Also, I think Coquette and Bullet GT have best handling IMO. They just hug the corners well for me.

This is interesting because i feel when driving the Stinger that it is not as fast as the Bullet GT

Why didn't they just add them to the main game?

IMO, if i were picking out of all the cars, id have to go with the sentinel XS. its REALLY grippy, and its got a decent top speed.

i've been thinking about that also. maybe it was to motivate players to try multi-player...

Me being one of the pro racers in GTA IV I know how it all goes. I am here to tell you all that all of the cars that go above "215 mph" (Bullet GT etc...) all go the same speed as the Comet which is "215 mph." You don't notice that because of the acceleration factor that R* has put in place. I tested them with people on PSN in GTA Races, not regular, but GTA ones. Also, have you noticed that it seems like slow motion when you drive in a car and watch the surroundings go by? The cars are actually pretty slow, only reaching speeds of what it seems like around 100 mph.
