I installed the game just fine, but i cant get the game to run..any suggestions?

It's a pretty old game so you might need to try different compatibility modes. Start with Windows 98 compatibility mode.

well, this is weird. cuz i dont have a problem with vc in 7 64bit. (except mouse problem)

no problems here, try running in win98 compatibility mode and XP.

Works fine in 32bit for me, but yeah id follow the instructions of the previous poster and run it in Compatibility mode for either 98 or XP
in-case you don't know how:
Right click on the the shortcut you are using
click "Properties"
Click on the tab "Compatibility"
and check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:
Then open the dropdown list and click either Windows 98 or Windows XP

If you get the PC trilogy, it should work. At least mine does on Windows 7. I think the trilogy was updated to be able to run on Vista and/or 7.

I don't know about the original game. And I have Windows 7 32-bit. But the trilogy works fine for it. At least for me it does. I can't really speak for 64-bit.

I have 64bit and it works fine for me.

If you can get into the game menu, go to options then display settings and turn Frame Limiter 'On'.
