Seriously. It's because you can get away with anything in terms of comments on YouTube. Combine that with people that shouldn't even be allowed to use a computer, you get the comments on there.
You always read some bunch of idiots posting on metal vids saying it sucks or w/e. Why go and watch a vid you know you won't like? I don't hit up the dance vids and say 'Learn to play instruments' or anything.. lol

Well, there's really no way around it. If they added a Report Abuse system to the comments it would be abused so quickly and they would need thousands of moderators, Youtube just can't handle that. It could work to add a word-filter in though, for words like "ni**er" it should be automatically discarded/marked as spam etc.
