After you beat the last mission, and Mike leaves Liberty City, do you have to start a new game or do you get to keep playing?

Hi,

After Mike leaves Liberty City, A screen pops up saying "Save game" and "Quit game". If you quit without saving It will redrict you to the start menu and if you load the game up, you will have to do the last mission again. If you save the game and then quit, then load the game up, you will start near Cisco's plane in Francis International.
