This isn't entirely map mod related, however it does deal with item placement. I was fooling around with Simple Native Trainer and I spawned a window cleaning lift just for sh*ts and gigs. I thought about how cool it would be to set up your own custom window cleaning lifts around the city. To do that, you obviously couldn't load the objects using the trainer - the objects would have to be part of the map. No big deal, because I have no problem converting objects to WPL. I am not, however, accustomed to scripting ... at all. And I realize that in order for a window cleaning platform to work, it would have to be scripted. So my question to all you scripters out there: could you make this work? I'll provide the WPL and an updated gta.dat (unless you're familiar with making pathways and you don't need the gta.dat) and your job would be to get the damn thing scripted. Of course there may be more steps involved than making a WPL and scripting, and if so let me know!

I created a map, but not convert it to gta iv, someone could teach me?, I searched for tutorials, but can not find
I've seen mods maps have three types of files: ide, img and wpl, but not how to create these files
(do not speak English, I'm using google translator)

Hi,
Basically what am interested in is building some sort of converter of The Sims (2 or 3) houses to 3DS Max 2012 (and thus Cityscap->GTA:IV). If The Sims is too difficult, another housing design program that is relatively user friendly could work too.
Streets and maps could be developed as suburbs, and we could assign lot sizes so people could build their houses, upload screens, and the ultimate city/village could be decided upon
If may be almost impossible to do this, but if achieved, the opportunities are limitless, it would grow and change incredibly fast.
So let me know what you think, and what you think is holding back this kind of project at the moment.

Could somebody please create a custom safe house mod? Location: Cariboo Avenue - link to the house (video) * here's a mod that enables you to go in without the hassle of doing the climb-cancel glitchRequest Specifications: - Niko will lay down/wake up on the bed mattress found on the second floor upon saving the game - A safe house icon will universally appear on the map - Enable saving of car(s) in front of the garage beside the house - .cs (if possible) Advanced thanks to whoever is willing to do it.
