I'm glad you guys like it, but I'm afraid they will indeed all have the same unit number, Schallerboy. However, it's not so bad, as you can get around this by making your own skins without any unit numbers, as I have provided skin templates with the downloads.

Oh, and yes, the Police Patrol now has flashing head lights.

And KrispyKreme, what do you mean about the Land Cruiser?

Well matty, unfortunately I haven't worked on the fire truck at all yet. I'm still working on the police Minivan, the police Buffalo, the police Esperanto, and the Ambulance.

Okay. I cant wait to see what you release next! On a different note, have you played around with that lightbar at all? I think it might look a little better (although not as historically accurate) with an outside red dome. The red light in the clear dome kinda gives off a pinkish glow. Red clear red for the dome colors might look better! Awesome work though.

Well this is what they looked like in real life -- these are the images I used as a guide:





BUT the good thing is, you can change the light bar glass colors yourself if you'd like, as all it requires is a texture change.

Here's how to do it:

- Open up the car's texture archive (police2.wtd) by using G-Texture.
- Find mx7000_domes.dds and extract it.
- Open it up with Photoshop and modify the siren glass colors in the bottom left corner however way you want to.
- Save it as a .dds file and re-import it into police2.wtd using G-Texture and save.
- Import police2.wtd back into vehicles.img with SparkIV.

Also, about the front doors on the Police Cruiser not having any collision, I listed that in the notes in the readme and in the download topic. It's unfortunate, but I don't know what causes it, and I don't know how to solve it as of yet

Alright, sorry for double post, these new cars are AWESOME. , I changed the numbers on the trunk to LCPD, and the PCT Numbers to a healthy generic "Liberty City" Hmmm, Gotta reskin the buffalo now

Now LCPD looks totally different from what it was.

Police cruiser with the new lights sure looks sharp, but I especially like the blinking headlights on Police patrol.
I could just watch it all day long by pressing look back button.

I actually did figure out how to change the domes, and i checked in game it did work. The only issue now is that i cant see through the dome to see the rotators. All the lights on the bar, including the untouched white dome are now non transparent. Any idea how i did that?
