Nothing beats a good dog to have as a friend if you ask me. Sad thing is I don't have a dog right now. I grew up in an animal family, and was lucky to have a super cool job all through my younger working life that involved animals. I take pet ownership very seriously.
Do you ever look around your house and think 'this is weird. we have weird furry creatures walking around the house.'?
Currently we have 5 cats*. Lucy(17), Jack(14), Pip, Muntz, and Tim(brothers 7). A well established kio pond of over 10 years with: Murry, Norm, Kate, Sue, and Curtis.
So let all of your GTAF brothers and sisters know how weird your are with you pets....
*I'm not one of those cat freaks - trust me. The three brothers are rescues my wife couldn't give up when it came time to place them. Otherwise, I would be normal with 2 cats. The current deal now is no more cats and we are getting a Newfoundland when we get back down to 2 cats.

I've got 7 cats.
We never really planned it, but one day after a couple of months of waiting our 3rd cat (now deceased ) gave birth to 5 beautiful kittens.
We didn't have the heart to sell them on, so here we are with 5 cats of the same litter, a British blue shorthair and a British blue cream taught crossbreed.
So, going from oldest to youngest:
Ruby. She's the British Blue cream taught, and she's about 4 and a half years old now.
Sapphire. She's a British Blue pedigree, although she doesn't act like it at all.
The 'kittens'. They're about 3 and a bit years old now.
Eboney. It's hard to take photographs of her, she's too black.

Pearl. She always sits like that, with her paws just in that little thingy.

Jasper. He's a bit of a porker. Infact no, he's a big fat porker.

Amber. She's the smallest, and she's a little squirt.

Ringo. He's quite nervous, but he's really really sweet.

| QUOTE (Runey. @ Jul 25 2009, 03:04) | | Haha, Starion, your cat likes to lay in cardboard boxes too? | Yeah, they love boxes.
Whenever we buy something that comes in a box, the first thing the cats do is investigate it.

I got one dog, one cat, lots o' fish, 2 birds and 2 rabbits.
Could not be bothered posting any pics but my dogs a Staffordshire Bull-Terrier named Morley, cat's name is Zoe, she's 1/2 Russian Blue 1/2 Domestic Long-Hair. Birds are both Cockatiels, named Flicka and Pippa (the're my sisters). Rabbits are named Paris and Nicole (Rabbits are also my sisters, this explains the stupid names) We did own a Snake 7 or 8 years ago, he was a Diamond Python named Sylvester. Had to give him away cause he was getting to big and could of killed someone.
