I have contacted the Steam help desk directly, with the following Email:I recently purchased GTA Vice City on steam, however in order to add modifications to the game, you need to have version 1.0, and Steam automatically downloads a version higher than 1.0.
Is there a way to downgrade my version of GTA Vice City to 1.0? Apparently last year, you were sending version 1.0 instead of whatever version you are now.

Unfortunately there is no option to revert back to an older version of the game for games purchased through Steam.
