Nice to know u also like Munich film. Yeah I imagine this game Agent have a huge range of execution methods. Much like Hitman series style of assassination would be cool too. I'm sure we will see something execution methods like in Munich.

That was a good game man, seriously.

I'd say it's pretty doubtful that any information on Agent would come out anytime soon, especially with Rockstar focusing on MP3 post-launch DLC and their small indie game upcoming release; GTA V (you may not have heard of it - look it up). We've still yet to see any information on Agent, besides some images (...right?), but there's plenty of amazing stealth-action games that we actually have solid information on, including release dates.

I'm guessing Agent has been cancelled and that Rockstar just won't admit it to keep up their good reputation; which is fine, in my opinion.

Why does a lot of you think that Agent has been canceled? if it's only because no revelations have been made about it for 3 years, then it's really not a reason to sit on. Remember when L.A.Noire was announced in 2006 and when the first revelation was made in 2009. During the silent 4 years, many thought that it was canceled, but they turned out to be wrong. It took all that time mainly because Motionscan tech took the first 2-3 years of production to be developed, and casting didn't start until 2009. During these silent years, Rockstar and Take2 confirmed from time to time that L.A.Noire is still in development which is exactly what's happening now to Agent.

For the same reason some people thought there would not be another Grand Theft Auto just because R* took some time before releasing any info. R* never rush with their games, like some other companies do. Because if they did they wouldn't uphold the same level of quality and attention to detail. I mean look at Max Payne 3 and LA Noire, both had long development cycles and ended up being absolutely amazing (especially Max Payne 3 in my opinion). I can only imagine how amazing Agent will be with all the time they have spent on that game.

It was probably going to be released after Max Payne 3 if it wasn't for all the GTA fanboys who spam GTA 5 comments on every new video and site update R* does. It's doesn't mean that they have canceled it. It just means that they will release it after GTA V to please the fans.

Yeah, I completely agree with you. I've been said this several times, but I'm going to say it again: R* will release AGENT one year later after they released GTA V. I have a strong feeling in this. I'm a big fan of espionage and Cold War stuff. I'm so happy when my favorite game devs announced that they will make a game based on that subject.

As I know this thread has been buried for months maybe years I figured i'd revive it and let all know that this game still has someones attention. I have been anticipating this game even more than GTA V since it was divulged in 2009 at Sony's E3 Pres conference. I have sent Rockstar Games a fair, logical, truthful inquisition on their support page.

Please let me know what you think.

@neo92boi We're on the same page. AGENT is my dream game, at least that's from 2009 R* press statement: 1970s, espionage, and political assassination. Glad you've also asked R* about this game, I already did that too. Last time they replied:

Well, as far as I'm concerned, AGENT is still in development. Remember LA Noire? They just threw some logo and descriptions about the game, and then... POFFF!! The game gone dark for some quiet time. I mean that R*'s style. In the end, they always deliver it. So I'm not worried at all. What we need right now just a patience.

Agent sounds promising, but R* acts like Blizzard in terms of releasing news, so the hype about that game is already gone at mine.

Can anyone blame R* for their politics of releasing news? They put out a few high quality games and everyone is excited for the next. The next GTA would probably sell millions with only free advertising (online).

I wouldn't be surprised if this project in particular will get cancelled...even though I hope it won't.

I wonder if Rockstar was planning on releasing the game in 2009 or 2010, but i didn't think so. It looks like that AGENT is going to be a 2013 major title around the block in my opinion.
