Uh.

Sorry but that doesn't really make a lot of sense.

For a PS2 game, Just Cause had some pretty decent graphics. I can't see how they are more cartoony than any other PS2 game out there.

Some argue cartoony a fault with GTA, and with GTA3 it is to some extent, but there's also something of a balance. I love graphically splendid games, I took commercial art and drawing in school.

The only things I hated from the first just cause were the handling of vehicles and how the map buildings looked like 'dropped' over the terrain, with weird looking road/city puzzles and repeating bridges and all. Hopefully this won't happen.

The trailer looks nice and the new hook looks easy smile.gif

Game design can ruin a great concept and premise. Some are badly controlled of course.

A real shame when that wrecks a promising game, however, with sequals, unlike cinema, most new games on new systems totally eclipse their prior brethran

Looks a sh*t load better than the first video posted, I knew something wasn't right about it. Have to say after watching this one it looks interesting especially with the new parachute and the grapple hook that can grapple ANYTHING. Hope to see more interesting stuff to persuade me into buying it.

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but here is a Developer Walkthrough.

Shows some new stuff, the new on-top-of-the-vehicle system, new grapple hook, new parachute. It's looking fantastic. I really like how you can duck and weave to avoid fire whilst on a car. And Yahtzee's friend Quicktime Events make a short appearance!

Will definately be getting this, looks superb.

Man, I hated alot of stuff in Just Cause.
The driving sucked. Alot.
The textures were terrible!
The controls just...god, the controls.
The missions were repetitive.
Everybody died the same way, animations were sh*t.

But to this day, I put it in my computer and go for a nice fly in a plane. That game had the best (also best looking) weather system I'd ever seen in a game.

I just hope for better missions, more fluid movements/animations/controls...and better driving. Can't wait!

(Some customization wouldn't go astray either!)

I'm actually still playing Just Cause. I just love how big the island is (1,025km square, the box says). I love the stunts, how you can just grapple onto a chopper from the ground, and jack it in midair for a quick trip somewhere.

I'm getting through all the liberations, cause I've finished all the missions. My only problem is the physics. They kinda suck, but the graphics and fun make up for it. The HDR is beautiful.

Agree! Just Cause looks very well. It's missing some physics and missions but it is still a great game.

The first game was epic in size, just poor in repetitive missions. But it looks like Just Cause 2 is going in the right direction, can't wait for some awesome sky diving! colgate.gif

Just Cause 2, IS multiplatform, so it's coming to PS3, PC and 360.

You can get rid of that fake boxart. Here's the real, official one:

PS3 Just Cause 2 Has Video Capture Built Right In
By Mike Fahey on January 23, 2010 at 5:20 AM

A game like Just Cause 2 is filled with explosive moments you’ll want to share with your friends, and PlayStation 3 players will be able to do just that, thanks to a PS3-exclusive built-in video capture feature.

Just Cause 2 is all about emergent action, letting the player decide how he or she wants to tackle any individual task. This leads directly to unique moments of gameplay that beg to be shared with the gaming public, and Square Enix London Studios has taken steps to make sure PlayStation 3 owners have that ability at their fingertips. Just Cause 2 for the PS3 will include a video capture feature that collects the previous 30 seconds of gameplay, processes it, and uploads it directly to the player’s YouTube channel, so when you do something incredibly dangerous – say, ramming an oil tanker with a jet fighter – you can quickly share it with the entire world.

For more elaborate stunts, the game menu will also feature a 10-minute capture option, allowing players to create mission walkthroughs, craft machinima, and otherwise eat up a lot of YouTube’s storage space.

The feature is only available on the PlayStation 3, which means that if you own both consoles you now have a good reason to pick one version over the other.

Just Cause 2 parachutes into North America on March 23.

Seems like a neat feature. Good for those OMGWTF moments and wish you had a capture set-up or sorts.

As a 360 owner I miss out on this cool feature.

Oh, very nice. Video capturing features always rock. The video capture feature on GTA:IV is what made me buy it for PC even though I already had it on PS3.

This game is looking good, the UK exclusive content looks sweet also. Can't wait.
