Well that's the thing. There isn't an option to start a new game. Just the option for clip capturing.

@Durp: Backup all of your save games to your desktop. Then, delete the savegames in your AppData/Local/Rockstar/GTA IV/savegames folder. Start the game again. Now it should start a new game.

I can't find AppData/Local/Rockstar/GTA IV/savegames, I'm using the Steam version, if that helps. On an unrelated note, would it be in any way possible to keep the save game I had before the crashing?

The APPData folder is hidden by default, so you have to tell Windows to Show/Hide hidden folders and files....

However, If you have mods, then we cannot provide accurate help until you get a Clean installation with NO Mods/Trainers...We have a dedicated section for modding, this section is for Un-Modded games ONLY...

I have the same problem. The game crashes at the loading screen of "rigged to blow". It worked PERFECTLY Last night. what happened?

Have you tried starting a new game or loading an older savegame?

Um, you cant start a new game from the menu
However i have the same problem, i press play then the loadscreens show up then it shows ''The Cousins Bellic'' suddenly the music stops and after 5 seconds it crashes.

You should have a game tab under options, there should be an option to start a new game.

Same thing is happening to me i deleted the setting and still nothing i played it like 1 hour ago worked fine and starting a new game won't help it and IM NOT REINSTALLING IT becasue it takes like 24hours to get the game to work
