I have a good idea for a cleo mod ZAZ may do for overdose effects 1.5 easily rolleyes.gif . Maybe its possible to make a kind of meteorstorm cleo script? You could use Rocks (id: 1303, 1304 a nd 1305 seems very good) spawning in random order and number (with limits ofc) from sky 100 meter above player and fall on random places around player (or onto player if bad luck tounge.gif ) in specific and random angles onto bottom and create random strong big/medium explosion (explosion ID 6 or 7) when hit (like the wreck ball mod by ZAZ) -maybe its good that every rock has its own explosion strenght like the other got a strenght of 3xID6/7 and the others 1xID6/7 and/or 1xID10 or something else y a know?-. You could make a good addon effect for them too and then attaching the effect to each rock which falls. also retexturing the needed rocks to make it look like meteorits.
Should be able to be enabled/disabled just like cheat by typing "METEOR" or something just like the "BURN" from Project Fantasia.

I always wanted such for fun in SA and ofc for a video i planned like since 1 year before. biggrin.gif

That's not real bullet holes. That just textures and the mod seems to be very bugged at the moment. As you can see the 'bullet holes' are in the air. confused.gif

Function-X can you make a Clip ( or magazine) effect like my video @ 0:10 ?
I shoot and whne the ammo is empty he lose the magazine ( clip).

That would be cool. I was looking into this months ago, and did find someone had made a sick animation for reloading that included the clip. Was never released.

I think this needs to modelled and scripted; rather than an effect.

Define new object (or use un-used object) and use a script to attach the clip in players hand at the right time and drop it. ZAZ should be able to create it biggrin.gif

Ryosuke just released a proper bulletholes mod, Check it out !

For the meteor idea, I already did the fireball effect in 1.4, So it just needs the script wink.gif

The magazine idea is a good one, And it's pretty easy actually, It doesn't require new models, Just a script to show an effect when the reloading animation happens, The only problem would be the weapon mods, How will i know which weapon mod the user is using ? Because the clip texture needs to be identical to the model i guess tounge.gif But it would be a cool feature, Hope somebody will help with the script.

Tiny update:
Managed to do wavy water from water.dat, But it will surely have bugs at some places close to the water, Might be impossible to fix because i could never know the exact location from water.dat.
Plus waves makes the boats really suffer.
Anyway heres a screeny that doesn't really show anything:

Maybe just create a couple of magazines, and whoever does script it ( I presume ZAZ lol ) then it might be easy to change the magazines per weapon for the end users ..

if weapon = c*ntgun (magazine = #4)


Just a thought .. Or even if it was done via an .ini; with the weapon models as the paramaters, and the magazine as a value (which gets pulled from your effects)

I don't know.. Just my thoughts lol.

Thanks for the tip with Ryosuke's Bullethole mod. DK22's was buggy, but I'm sure this is almost near perfect. Also, he has a mousefix as well. Annnnd he keeps updating his Ragdoll so thats just awesome as well

I think if there would be magazine-mod, there should be also a bit more realistic animations for taking old magazine off and setting new one in, and maybe creating a script that would attach total number of magazines in the player. And, I just love the waves, mind publicing them? biggrin.gif

I like the wavy water, it looks nice on first impressions.
What are your ENB settings for the water Function-X? Presume you are using your own water from your particle.txd in ODE1.4?

Btw, have you managed to do your spin of the bullet-hole textures for Ryosuke's mod?
