I got the script hook and asi loader and both .asi and .ini files are in the GTA IV directory, but when I play the game the main menu options doesn't come up (like Play, Graphics, Exit etc).

when i crash or jump or whatever.. the camera doesnt become crazy like you guys... i have the version 1.0.7.0.. the mod works... BUT IT DOESNT SHAKE when i crash with a bike or i jump... i doesnt move...

The mod is perfect except looking behind when being OnFoot

This really is a great mod. Unfortunately - and I have found many online who agree - it is ruined by the fact that:
1) It takes over your standard bonnet camera.
2) You can't disable the mod in game like you can SNT and most other ASI mods.

it seems on-foot you added a new camera option but in vehicle you simply replaced the bonnet view. Some cars, especially custom done cars, need the normal bonnet cam, bikes in particular since uve disabled the horizon on them. Simple fix if you can't bring back the bonnet cam.. let us enable/disable this mod in-game with a hotkey!

QFA. Totally agree. As much as I love the first person view on foot, the bonnet view was my favorite one in car and it's now replaced. Please, at least make it optional in the ini, to have 1st person camera on foot only.

Can you change the head removal a bit? I figured that you made it only remove the head of Niko. I use the Simple Trainer and I like to switch models, so when I put first person into them, their models will still have their head, and it is annoyance. Please change this into removing all heads in Single Player instead of just Niko.

That's probably not true. A script should be able to hide only the player's head, regardless of which model they're using.

The only issue is the crosshairs with the other weapons (ex. Assault Shotgun)
Can you make this fully compatible for EFLC?

Works flawlessly for me, and I use the same versions. Check that you use the newest .NET ScriptHook, Alexander Blade's ASI Loader and the newest First Person mod.

My plea to modders out there:
Please make a new first person mod. This mod is not supported or updated anymore. Crosshairs don't even work for EFLC.

I know a new first person mod has been ignored for some time since this has always been available but it's starting to show it's years now.

This is the coolest mod i've seen, but unfortunately it's quite buggy forcing me to uninstall it.

1. Stuff like playing pool, or getting a lap dance will make pedestrians attack you or flee because of something strange happening when in first person view.
Not avoidable by temporarily turning it off either for some reason.

2. Will crash the game often. For example after getting the tutorial in roman's apartment after the first mission or after having sex with michelle. I got past the tutorial by removing the modfiles until i had completed it, but i bet there are tons of other things troughout the game that will cause a ctd for similar reasons.

These two bugs are the reasons i have to uninstall it. I'll probably reinstall it after getting tired of the missions and activities because it works so long as you don't do them, but what i really want is to play trough an entire game in first person view which i can't.

Another minor bug that i don't really care about is that you'll see an empty jacket when looking behind you, maybe that could be fixed by making it invisible like the head?

This mod is clearly not being worked on any more, but i wanted to point out the problems because after looking trough hundreds of mods this is the mod i wanted the most. If someone finds a solution to these two problems you'd be my hero.

This is a great mod, thanks very much.

However, may I ask is there any method to turn off/disable this mod in the game sometimes ? As the 1st person view of this mod is not perfect for all vehicles in the game, I just want to turn off this mod sometimes to make the bonnet view back to the original one... Is that possible?

Besides, I noticed that if the glass of the vehicle has been broken, I can't see motion blur anymore from the 1st person view...Is there any method for me to deal with that?

There's currently no way to disable it.

And you're a little late - everyone's playing MW3, BF3 and Skyrim. I haven't recieved any email in a month.

GTA IV is dead. If not now, soon enough. GTA V is coming soon.
