This album is nothing short of incredible when it comes to trip hop. Particularly this track. Not much else to say, really.

Eminem - Relapse

I have to say, I was a pretty disapointed. Why would I listen to it when there are much better albums like the Eminem Show? It just isn't that good. Not many people like We Made You, but I think it was one of the better ones. Beautiful was a good track and so was Insane (despite the fact that most of it's appeal are it's over the top lyrics, which were still pretty good).

I also grabbed the new Mos Def album, but I haven't listened to it much yet.

Mos Def- The Ecstatic

This album is Mos Def's follow-up to The New Danger an album which was ripped apart by some of Mos' fans as an album which deterred itself away from Hip-Hop and had a more R&B and Blues sensibility to it. This is Mos' return to the microphone as an emcee rather than a rapper experimenting with expanding his vocal range or lack therof (see Kanye West and Andre 3000). This album altogether is gritty and raw for the most part, although some songs are either too short or not necessary. Songs such as No Hay Nada Mas and Priority both run under two minutes with Priority being one that should have been expanded and the former been thrown off the album. Overall, the album is very solid with a portion of the album being steeped in Middle Eastern sounds and Mos' political/socially conscious persona making a comeback to the world of Hip-Hop.

Metallica's Master of Puppets, my favourite by them. I've been trying to step away from folk music recently, I found myself quite enjoying Steeleye Span and got rather worried (And it's aaall around my hat...). Before you know it I'll have grown a beard and I'll be wearing sandals - and I'm halfway there already!!!

Are Rick Wakeman's albums pure keyboards, then?

The Crystal Method - Divided By Night

I really enjoyed this. All the reviews I had read before I got it were mediocre, but even though the sound is old and breakbeat not really that cool any more, this is possibly some of their best stuff since Vegas.

Enter Shikari - Common Dreads

You'll either love it or hate it. I completely love it. Much better than their older stuff.

Mos Def - The Ecstatic

Outstanding. Certainly met my expectations of him. Furthermore, I disagree with Ciabatta that his last albums R&B/blues-esque feel was a bad move - because Mos Def always uses killer vocals. Hence, Roses and History are my favourite tracks.

Easy Star-All Stars - Dub Side of The Moon

Finally picked this up, and it is awesome. Of course, it's incredibly arduous to do a Pink Floyd cover, as you will be ranked against the original. Obviously, the originally was better, so the trick is to keep the aspect of the song that originally made it so appealing, and alter everything else with your own style so it sounds original. Easy Star-All Stars definitely succeeded in that aspect. I recommend this to all Pink Floyd and/or Reggae fans. I'd say this is a good way for first time Reggae listeners to get into the genre, assuming you've already heard Dark Side of the Moon.

Pixies - Doolittle

A classic album and one of my favourites of all time. By far the best work Pixies have produced in my opinion. Tracks such as There Goes My Gun, Monkey Gone to Heaven and Hey make this album the outstanding piece of work it is. There is not a single track on the entire album that I disliked, and it is very rare that I can find such an album. Every track sounds different and there are no filler or sub-standard tracks. It maintains consistent brilliance throughout the entire album. I'm not sure what genre it would classed as, as I tend to avoid genres if at all possible. Suffice to say if you like "alternative rock" (as much as I hate to use that sickeningly broad term) and abstract subject matter, this album is for you.

At work last week late at night when the place was empty. Really killed the time. Classic songs on there; favourites are "Fade to Black", "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "Trapped Under Ice".

Needs a bump, this hear....er, here

I listened to Jefferson Starship's Ten Years and Change greatest hits package. All with Craig Chiquico on guitar, who I never had a problem with, some people think he played a part in bad song writing, I don't see that. The album covers classics from JANE onwards in somewhat chronological order. The ballads as well as "We Built This City" on it. Picked it up used, but I like it!
Included the Diane Warren song "Don't Lose any Sleep", which was likely done better by the Babys' John Waite, who you guys should become familiar with, solo as well as with Journey's axeman in Bad English

Oh yeah! This is among my favourites, the peak of Black Sabbath. If anyone is into Hard Rock should REALLY give this one a try, it's simply too catchy.

In two days I've managed to learn every single riff, solo, beat, lyric... It's a REALLY catchy album.

Well, honestly, every Zep and Sabbath album, like Floyd, in a way, for me, they are all strong albums, which amounts to a great band in history. I'd suggest even Technical Ecstasy and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Even newer, I love Eternal Idol. Unlike some albums where I put on fav songs off them, these coax the listener into playing from start to finish! That's what you want from a strong album!

Sunn O))) - Black One

1. Sin Nanna
2. It Took The Night To Believe
3. Cursed Realms (Of The Winterdemons)
4. Orthodox Caveman
5. Candle Goat
6. Cry For The Weeper
7. Báthory Erzsébet

A very unique album and a personal favourite of mine. Sunn O))) is a popular drone metal group, giving off a deep, rumble through-out. It really reaches into you. It's something I can't describe but it's an amazing album. I could fall asleep to it, it's so mellow and yet so powerful. It demands your attention. I imagine it'd give me the most beautiful nightmares.

Just listened The Rolling Stones today.
The newest album A Bigger Bang.
I haven't listened it for a while and it sounded great. Maybe it's a little bit too long, but it is their best work in ages. Not on a same level as classic albums, but very good.
I'm waiting to see if that rumored new album with Jack White turns out to be a real classic.

I really don't know why most of us Metallica fans say this sucked. I liked it. It's definitely not like Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All or Metallica, but that just means that they're trying new stuff. Death Magnetic sounds a lot like their old stuff so I guess they're done experimenting.

One of my favorite rude boys...I love dancehall but hate to call it dancehall since it was just called reggae back in the day.

Wait...call me crazy...don't people listen to at least one album a day? That was the last alb I listened to out of maybe 5 or 6 today.
