After playing the first game Hearing that it ran off a modified Half life engine i was well excited the tech was there but i found it wasnt implimented very well. Hopefully with this new game coming out It looks like the addressed my main issue The poles that were indestructable! just been looking up on game info looks pretty good and sounds it to. Are you guys going to get this or try it? i know im going to give it a go and i didnt really like the first one!

As Funky proved in the post above your's that Ostrich hammer is actually in the game, and that is now my one sole reason for wanting the game, i've hardly followed it from the announcement, but having a bird as a weapon in this game is gonna be freaking sweet, and definitely makes it buyable.

I watched a 10 min gameplay video. Shooting looked kind of sh*te. Vehicles seemed quite nifty.

While i like playing in third-person it just won't be red faction if an FPV option isn't included.

allthough like ive said before about the old game i didnt like it, But ive heard the story is second to none, Dont know how you can say that it will be sh*t when all we have is a demo, with barly any of the story in it. Love the mechanics of this game, After playing the demo this game went from maybe buy to a definite buy.

Maybe he watched that cutscene before the main menu. I like the demo myself though, it's a really good game since it is really fun.

People said Saint's Row's story was crappy, but I liked it. Both are Volition games so maybe I'll actually like the story.

Yeah, I did watch that cut-scene. Maybe it was just the way it was presented (Why did they bother with a trailer announcer?), but everything looked clichéd. Big Evil Corporation vs. Amazingly Generic Hero.

Its a nice game, but they only seem to focuse on the fact you can destroy everything. and i dont like the fact that all your guns seem to strong. I tried to hit a guard with a hammer. but my hammer also hit a wall of a building. and the whole wall came down. that's kinda lame. I still want to cause mayhem in a building, without everything collapsing with like 3 hits or so.

This game still has to proof itself too me. I rather buy Infamous at this moment.

I played the demo the other week and it reminds me of Fracture so much. The game has great graphics but the shooting is a little bit poor and it seems like the guns don't do much damage. The driving aspect of the game was alright though and handles pretty well. I loved the damage in the game though, the way you can just plough through things and watch it tumble down.

The demo is so fun. I've played it like 10 times and it's still fun to blow up the pillars of the building that stands on the 3 pillars then watch it slowly collapse

I don't really care about the story of the game, more about the vibe.
