I almost feel a bit quilty to write this but on the pc last weekend was really busy. Even played a few hardcore games while that mode was truly dead before. Patch 1.0.0.49 fixed, as far as I know, most bugs and glitches but I'm sure it added some new ones I haven't seen yet. Joining games seems to go faster too although lag things as grenades not exploding and 20 secs to respawn do happen every now and then.

The most annoying thing is that I don't have the special DLC playlist. I didn't buy the R* Pass so in practice I paid about $10 for the M4 and the G9. But scr*w that, I'm already thinking about selling the game including my SC account. I wait what the free DLC brings and if that fails too I'll drop the game.

While I haven't played the multiplayer extensively to experience what you've guys have been issues with (besides some instances where I move to places I don't make), I do admittingly agree that it just feels like Rockstar underestimates their fans by lying to them. I don't want to be one of those guys, but it just seems like their representatives are becoming more obvious with coming up with excuses.

Personally, I still love the game, and find the multiplayer to be fun. But I can admit there's still things wrong with it (and some reason there always seems to be a game-breaking problem with it no matter how many times it gets patched).

Perhaps things won't be as bad if Rockstar would just be honest with us.

Put some decent hours over the weekend due to the double XP and went from 34 to level 45, not too bad. Multiplayer pisses me off so much, it's such a mess in many ways but can't help coming back.

Dual wielding needs to f*ck off and get nerfed, it's ridiculous how from long ranges pistols and SMG's can put you down so quick when you've got rifles built for long range shooting. The melee is just screwed as the hit detection is just horrible, you hit someone and they just turn around like 'bitch please' and then whack you. It works both ways but i've been screwed over more than i've gained. Sometimes it can take ages to get in a game, out of all the lobbies it puts you in one with 'the game is ending' one and it can take about 5 minutes of waiting back out and it'll put you in another waiting lobby. Still plenty of disconnects and what not.

Very love/hate with this multiplayer but aside from GTA and RDR's freeroam then this is the best multiplayer Rockstar have done so far.

Yeah very true about the dual-wielding and accuracy.

I was watching some utoob vids of people shooting pt92s, 1911s and such and yeah - the recoil is significant -- even with two hands supporting one handgun. They were weekend warriors and the player avatars are supposed to be gangsters etc, so they should be more experienced with guns -- but R* could've easily made dual-wielding more realistic and difficult.
The dominant hand is unaffected, but your left (or whatever) hand should be less accurate - like one in 3 shots having a chance of hitting. And the player could 'buy' workout skillz = build upper body mass to make dual-wielding more accurate, but then they're also less agile.

There's no way in hell even someone like schwarzegnegger with his body strength could dual-wield Bull 608s.

But you know I do appreciate the detail R* put into the guns. You can see it when you look at the two SE guns, the Hammerhead and G9 -- they look like crappy little boxes. But the others look good - and the Taurus guns etc are what would really be used down there. Good research.

The update finally came through for PSN asia today, so I'd guess that XBL wouldn't be far off, if it hasn't come down yet.
The camo hoodies are neat but that's all I noticed in 20 mins of playing. There was more drop outs than normal too.

But what's the point in leveling up all the way if you lose everything? If you play a game for leveling up that means you either have no life or don't like to have fun.

I have a question—I read a description of this game, it says "Max is battling his own personal demons." Can anyone explain to me who are Max's personal demons? Are they Max's drinking problem? Or the painkillers? Or what?

Played it online a bit - It seems to be full of snipers lately and guys who sound like CoD fanatics. I'm sick of playing Multiplayer lately as the douche population has sprung up.

I think they realize that it's been very dodgey on the PS3 and the PC thus far so they're hesistant to apply it to their biggest player base OR they were hoping 360 users wouldn't notice the patch update in the small print and not ask after it since they made no effort to announce it officially on the MP or the Main newswire. Either way I'll be sure to bug the sh*t out of them with every new Max Payne Newswire update until we get it or they admit they had no plans to give it to us in the first place.

So, I just got platinum for most of the chapters on Score Attack mode and a couple of gold too so I can unlock unlimited bullet time. However, the game hasn't unlocked it. Does the game really mean unlock all the chapters on Platinum? Because that means I've got to do Chapter IV part 2 and Chapter XII again cause they're the only ones that are on gold.
