| QUOTE (Barry Spock @ Friday, Aug 10 2012, 10:49) | In gangwars, on PSN freeaim it's beyond a joke. It's a pretty small pool of people so I see the same names each day. It's pretty disappointing seeing people with really high rank chimping out because they're on the weaker team = they quit then rejoin, hoping to be on the other team. I actually blew my cool yesterday in hardcore because some tw*t kept quitting and rejoining, but always went back onto our team. I shot him in the back. With a small pool of people like I mentioned, the concept of R*'s of having crews all on one side isn't working. That's what is unbalancing sides. And I might add that the GUN5 (gaming under the influence) players are a raging pack of pussies.
| Tell me about it, i was playing hardcore gang wars on free aim yesterday against a whole crew of 5+ people(the crew name was DROP i think) Anyways we were so few players that one dude from that crew went to our team, but the f*cking asshole kept f*cking killing me with his sniper rifle like two or three times so i snapped and killed him twice as well, he kept killing me but atleast i showed him that i wasn't gonna let that slide. And yeah i know how you feel about seeing the same players every time.

| QUOTE (junkpile @ Saturday, Aug 11 2012, 09:06) | | QUOTE (matajuegos @ Saturday, Aug 11 2012, 05:14) | | any tips for new york minute chapter 14? where are painkillers? |
I'm usually a free aimer, but the soft lock helped me a lot. I actually shoot dodge and deliver headshots, not many Payne Killers needed that way. But there are plenty...in the bathroom, in the terminal (both up and down floor), in the train,...close to the ammo crates while fighting Becker...
If you don't already do it: try to deliver headshots while shoot dodging. | Yeah that's the best tactic. There are loads of painkillers in that level once you get out of the area with the conveyer belt. There's one behind the guy you get the first bullet cam on, one in an office on the left where you start off in the next section, one in the bathroom a little bit down the corridor to the right, two in the next bathroom (end of the hall) which leads to the departure lounge (which can be retaken after the cutscene 9although in NYM you might waste time getting them), one behind the first check-in desk on the left (beside the divider), one up the first flight of stairs in a cabinate on the right, two behind the next check in desk, one behind a display cabinate in the next section, another one in the control room with the sniper, I think two in the first train and another three in the train that Max jumps into near the end. In my last two runs (Old School and Hardcore, using free-aim) I've consistently had about 6-9 painkillers throughout that entire chapter and both times I had 9 going into the final battle. I haven't played NYM yet so I don't know how easy it is to collect and conserve painkillers but there should be more than enough.

am I the only knob that doesn't like free-aim on the PS3? I can never get the controls just right. It's kinda like patting your head and rubbing your tummy all while getting shot at. All the moving aiming looking...ahh just cant get it right with the controls. Auto assist is hard enough for me. That being said I've almost worked up to level 50. Looking forward to whatever the legend status does... Not saying that I can't free aim, did it all the time with the frist Max Payne on the computer. Mouse and keyboard works a lot better for first/third person shooters. The PS controller never really did it for me. :clumsy thumbs:
