I just sort of hate the unskippable cutscenes bit. It was a novel idea but on repeat playthroughs its kind of annoying.
If that's the biggest gripe you have, and somehow you feel that vindicates your earlier vitriolage, then I feel I can speak for just about everyone when I say that I really do wish you'd shut the f*ck up and toddle back off to the V section with all the other imbeciles.
Hey guys, is there any way to check your Multiplayer Stats without going to the Social Club? The stat linking isn't working for me. It would be much more easy to have an in-game one.

Nah, unfortunately, the only way to do it is accessing your account at Social Club. It never linked my game rightly too. When I still had a 360, I finished RDR and completed 100% of it and it's still at 30% in my Social Club stats.
Try to play the multiplayer in the console with your computer connected to the internet, it must link in a few minutes.
I'm getting my ass handed to me regularly but am really enjoying MP. Good article here: http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/max-pa...of-multiplayer/ with a few bits of info I didn't know like how you unlock gun attachments. I looted someone's high powered rifle with targeting scope last night and that was pretty awesome.
Anybody using the FAL? I'm thinking of saving up for that but still not sure. 2 out of 3 of the gun buys I've made ended up not being that good.
I guess the way the grinds work is that they encourage you to spend some time with all the weaponry.

^I don't like the FAL too much. I would recommend the MPK. I think overall it's one of the best two-handed weapons you can get. I run it with a silencer and I always do really well with it.
And if the high powered rifle you're referring to is the FMP, then I agree that it is pretty cool. It's so satisfying getting a headshot with that thing.

That's a shame that there's always much more players in the soft aim mode than in the auto aim. I started in the auto aim mode, and I found it much better than the soft.
I was playing in the soft lock mode and a girl with a double 608 was shooting at me from the other side of the map and it was much more powerful than an AK. Don't really know if these revolvers are really overpowered or if she - or he, whatever - was cheating in any way.
Anyone else a bit tired of all the flashes and sh*t that goes on? It's Manhunt/Manhunt 2 but just way over the top for no reason... Lighten up Rockstar! Wait... don't or otherwise I would have a seizure. Really like the game though... been getting murdered online but still fun.

Picked up a sniper rifle from some corpse in a TDM session. Feels so good. Trying to level up so I can get it in my loadout.
And yeah, my biggest gripe with the game are the unskippable cutscenes. Hopefully the PC version won't have that problem. Either way, I'm sure some genius modder will come around to figuring it out.

I have to admit I kind of like the flashes and blurs. First I was annoyed by it, then I got used to it. I mean that's probably how you feel when you are mixing alcohol with painkillers.

Hmmmm don't know if this has been brought up, but parts of MP3 MP remind me of GTA IV. I swear some of the apartment blocks on the Hoboken maps are Niko's Bohan safehouse complex or atleast look like various apartments throughout GTA IV.
Also does anyone else think this game has that I don't know how to describe it "grunt" when you kill people just like when you kill peds in GTA III?

Do you find that the silencer gives an advantage? They still seem pretty loud. I've LOLed at it a few times cause it sounds like someone brought their typewriter.
My two small complaints are that the one button melee kill is a bit simplistic. And with straight out Deathmatch the maps seem a bit small -- esp. the offices. I often spawn right in the firing line of people and get killed immediately. I way prefer team deathmatch, deathmatch is usually too much of a clusterf*ck.

i wouldn't be surprised typical c*
and yes the grunt sounds are reused some of them are nikos pain sounds
I just finished the single player story yesterday and although I thought the visuals and the shooting mechanics etc. were amazing I thought the story left alot to be desired.
Don't get me wrong.. the dialogue was sensational and really captured the effect of the hard boiled detective novels of old, it's just a shame the story was so predictable and lackluster in it's delivery.
From the very first shot of Victor Branco I knew he would be the one who would turn out to be behind everything. The quasi-betrayal of Max by Passos was also cliché to say the least
For a game that took so long to make I wish they had've taken more time to craft a better plot as I feel it lets the whole game down and undermines everything that is brilliant about it. In GTA IV I wanted to play the story over and over again despite it being so damn long. If it wasn't for the trophies in this game I wouldn't play the story more than once (or twice at a push).
