I happen to own both GTA SA and (Activision's) True Crime: New York City.

I wondered, what if I'd recreate TC: NYC in San Andreas? Sure, it would be a lot of work, but I started work...

NO map is going to be converted, it's a simulator, not a total conversion.

Some things may be impossible to do without CLEO (ex. taxi that takes you to a marker); even if I'm trying to exclude, I think it'd be better for everyone that installs the mod to also have CLEO installed.

This mod is still in beta stages, but promising things will come soon.

Please tell me if shall I continue or if this is just a project that isn't going anywhere.

Maybe the maps are going to be converted, but since I'm not a good mapper, don't expect miracles for maps

And the TC: NYC's map is HUGE, almost the size of NY.

Of course you should! Even without making new map, player etc , SA map is better. I loved TC: NYC, but it would be even better on SA engine! Please don't give up on this!!

Help i did it but on one bit i spawned at bank place and it didn't give me a objective and i don't know what to do plz help

That's not a bank, it's the SF PD.

Yep, the map is huge but every 5 meters you see the same building.

Really nice idea to make a mod like this.

How do i uninstall it? there isn't no uninstall thingy.
i've replaced script folder and movies even text but it wont change plz help

Sorry the 'unninstall' is unstable, but if you made a back-up, copy the "script" folder from the back-up to your SA/data folder, the "text" folder from the back-up to your SA folder, and, if you knew, the Logo.mpg from the movies folder is also changed...

You can also use SA Recoverer 1.10 to recover the files from the DVD.

I can't understand you.

I installed the mod, but i want to uninstall it.

@Snakesmeller:I am afraid...you shall have took a backup.Now either You need to get the replace files from someone,or reinstall San Andreas.

Yup, that can be done, I can do it, but...

• The models would be a harsh to convert (you want me to put a golfer instead of Roman?)
• I don't know if it would be allowed by Rockstar and Take 2 Interactive. You know most people got their vids off YouTube because they had storyline elements in them.
• I can't, somehow, download SA: LC. I don't know why, maybe the DL link is broken?

2.)Rockstar will allow it cause you will script it from scratch.

Then I'll add GTA4 Simulator to my mod making list, and try to do once I finish this, ok?

Here's some progress with new features:

1. Auto Save
After each mission, you'll be promt to save the game. Thingy is, it actually WORKS in inter-missions (between 2 connecting missions)! Here's a short clip of me loading back a savegame and imidiatly the script starting the other mission (you can also see some shots from the 2nd mission):


2. Drive-by
If you are in a vehicle (whatever as passanger or driver) press TAB to enter drive-by mode.

Thingy is, it looks sorta crappy with cars


Does anyone like them?
