"I'm currently in the earliest stages of building a script that will have Niko selling drugs to pedestrians on the street, calling and picking up more from a supplier, and much like how GTA main characters are always getting into missions where some guy is peddling drugs on the street and he needs his ass kicked, Niko too will find himself being chased down occasionally by hired guns sent to clean up the streets."

From yesterday:

"I have finished and polished the most important aspect of the drug dealing, the one that was central to whether this mod would be possible; Niko can now go anywhere out on the streets and take a "dealer's stance," which will attract a curious nearby pedestrian to approach. They will either exchange the drugs for money, or (on a rare occasion) the buyer will realize what Niko is selling and refuse to buy. On an even rarer occasion, you might come across someone particularly hostile who wants all your drugs... and brought a gun, instead of money...

I'm currently adding more statistical information to selling on the street to make it interesting. In the last build, you sold nondescript amounts of drugs from an infinite pool for a fixed price. Now, the buyer will randomly want more or less of the drug. The drug is measured in grams, so that is how it's sold, by the gram."


And now:

Progress Update (March 11th)
The following things are finished and in the current build as we speak:

* Random drug amounts are bought by pedestrians.
* The drug's price per gram can be easily altered on the fly, so if I ever need to make its value go up or down, it's very simple.
* You can call 555-DRUG to call your supplier. (If he has already dropped you a package that you haven't picked up yet, or if you're not close to running out of drugs, he will have his phone off the hook and not answer your call)
* He will leave an inconspicuous shopping bag with 250 grams of the drug for you to pick up at one of three locations.
* Sometimes you'll be ambushed by a tough militia group while trying to pick up the shipment.
* The more drugs you sell, the better a chance you have of getting an unpleasant visit from a hired gun. After you kill them or they waste you, things will cool off a bit and you should be able to sell for a little while more without running into trouble.
* Hired guns come in three forms currently: 1) A single assassin wielding a baretta shotgun, an uzi, baseball bat, and with a full suit of body armor. 2) Two assassins, one the same as the last one, and another man backing him up, also wearing body armor, and instead wielding a desert eagle and a grenade. 3) A vehicle will spawn with both the assassins from the previous group, with submachine guns in addition to their other weapons, and they will perform a driveby on you and try to run you down. (Moral of this story: Don't go dealing out on the street without some body armor and a piece)
* Special "mission" drug deals aren't yet set up, but I'm giving them some thought.

Looks good, But I have a suggestion. I think add one more class of assassin that can be a "Ghetto" type guy with simply a Glock, Knife or baseball bat. Or a group of them with Baseball bats ect. As not always should it be a Mafia-Hitman

It's WIP!

No download link yet. Granted, it's in good enough shape to be a decent beta, but I want all my features in place first. I want the mod to make a good first impression.

I might do a video though.

Well, I have a lot of free time, despite the (somewhat) complexity of my hunger mod, I believe I completed it in 4 days.

So, as far as this mod goes (which is a good bit more complex), I'd say I've got another 4-8 days of work ahead of me.

There's no doubt that you guys will be playing it next week.

na dope is Heroin and u should make it so if the cops see u selling u get 2 stars and i think it would be really cool if u sell alot of drugs the cops start following u and stuff and eventully they try to take u down in like a drug bust kina and instead of peddling the stuff all the time u could move up from that and deliver truck loads and start a empire LOL that would be cool
