Here i have some bug.
If you set some marker, then you continue desinging.
When you delete the marker, the marker will not deleted.
But it deleted. i mean if you play the mission, the marker is visible
but this marker is NOT objective!!!
Try this!!!

Crash:

A few minutes after I started design' a new mission, I placed the Intro Message, then I put a checkpoint. Everything is fine now. But at 12:06, when I was browsing the interior 143, I wanted to push Y for the next interior, and the game crashed. There was the black-screen "wait until the next interior come", and then the game crashed, without any Error Report from Windows! Weird Crash. It's like I did quit the game, but I didn't.

1.Sometimes if I place an objective, the game crashes.
2. Sometimes if I select an objective, then I spawn/hide an actor/car/pickup/object, the objectives goes bad, for example :
I put some objective like this :
First, In CJ's house
Second, In front of Sweet's house
Third, In front of Ryder's house
Fourth, At Groove Street

Then I want to spawn a car, so I select an objective that placed in front of Ryder's house then spawn a new car there. After that I play the mission, sometimes the mission run like I want, but sometimes the mission runs disorder, after I hit the Second objective, the fourth appear and the Third appear after I hit the Fourth objective. Not only the red markers, but also the other, like cutscenes, pickups, actors, etc..... dozingoff.gif dozingoff.gif dozingoff.gif

Are you sure all the objectives where places before you selected the second objective and you placed the car.

Objectives added after selecting an objectives, will be inserted in the list of objectives after the selected objective.


Let say you have a sequence of three objectives defined:

O1 -> O2 -> O3


Now you select Objective O2, and add a fourth objective it wil be inserted before Objectove O3:

O1 -> O2 -> O4 -> O3

To prevent this, you should select objective O3 again before adding the fourth objective.

What do you mean? If made a lot of spheres, then the limites of SA will play part.

And then if there are too many things (objects, objectives, actors, cars, pickups, etc, but they are above the limit, maybe the actors 80, objectives 30, etc) the mission has a big chance to crash when playing it!!

my game crash when it want to load the mod.

I got Windows Vista, v1.0 of gta, cleo 3 installed and else no mods. the only thing i can think of that it is a copyed game with crack from my friend to play it.

plz help

Uh, so the limit of actors in 100, right?
I made a mission where i have 70 actors spawned, only 2 objectives ( one cutscene and the other one to kill an actor), 2 cars parked.

So, after the first objective - cutscene, the game crashes, and i don't seem to figure what did i do wrong.

I read somewhere that if you have more then 30 actors loaded at the same time, (not sure if it matters if they are dead or not,) the game will crash.

I read that somewhere on these forums, but not sure where.

Hmm, i do have all 70 loaded at the same time.

Ok, i'll try and lower the number of people then, icon14.gif but still i'd like/hope this bug fixed if possible.

If it is a limitation in the engine, than there is little we can do to fix it. Try not to go overboard in number of actors and cars that are active at the same time.
This is also the reason why it is wise to spawn actors only after the objective where they're needed, and to hide them if thay are no longer needed. Keeping the number of active actors low at each moment, will lead to a more stable mission.

I'm sorry it takes a while, but we are really busy this week. I put all my free time in these tutorials and Patrick has a very busy IRL atm. So I'm sorry, but we are a bit busy. When we have the time, we will immediately look into your mission, but I don't have a clue when that will be...
