I've seen around 10ish. But I'm not popping them as I'm waiting for the map. I've learnt that mistake before too many times before the hard way. I've been tempted, but I don't want to get mixed up when a map does come out. I should have jotted down their positions though, so then I could of put them up on IGN's/gta4.net's interactive map or something.

Dave Grossman-1
You can meet Dave on the main steps to Goldberg, Ligner and Shyster, and in short he is about to be sued of the face of the Earth for something he didn't do. Your job is to chase after a rival lawyer, damage his car enough to make him pull over, and then have a word with him after.

Malc-1
Malc is on a corner in Northwood, not to far from the Pay n Spray and he finds that his friend DeSaun is in trouble-he's been shot in a race. You go to meet DeSaun in the Westminster area. You then proceed to find some Angel of Death hanging out near the Pay n Spray in Purgatory. Thre is about 7 or 8 of them, and you have to kill them all. Simple as.

Malc-2
Malc in a parking lot, where you first met him in the storyline. He is prepping for a race and invites you to compete with him. You need a bike and to go to the start line. You must then win the race. This race is not unique as it can be done from the same starting point as this encounter.

Sorry is any details are wrong, I've had to do this all from memory. Hope it helps.

Thanks. I plan on writing up the Random Peds after Stubbs' jobs. Just a note, Malc-1 and Malc-2 on your list are the wrong way around (Malc-1 should be called Malc-2 and vice versa). You unlock the race on first and the one where DeSaun is shot second

Sorry mate, I didn't realise the order of Malc's encounters, I always thought you saved DeSaun and then did the race, or atleast I swear I did them in that order. Did I get the starting points for Malc's wrong as well?

I'm not sure on the starting points right now, I'm going to go back and do them again tomorrow. Also, you may well have done them in the order you posted them in. Unlike GTA IV, these characters do not require you to do their first mission to unlock their second, they just unlock after certain storyline missions. So you can still do them out of order, but you first unlock the race and then helping DeSaun.

The answer should be to start a new game. GTA IV always starts off with the latest save, so the only way for that to happen was to save the game while playing Niko then quitting, or by not saving at all (with autosave turned off) while starting TLAD. How can you load a TLAD save if it doesn't exist?

Not necessarily. People have reported that even though they do actually have save games, they have been taken straight into Niko's storyline hence the need for that Q/A. However yeah I need to edit in the New Game question too.
And yeah, I realised I had been spelling it wrong earlier but I want to get some more substance into it before I start changing the little things like that.

Also, Stubbs' info has now been added.

I did Malc's race and lost, but im positive ive raced their before doing the 12 racing side missions. Did I complete random peds, or am I screwed for 100% completion?

When I got the random character missions for malc they were in the opposite order than the main post here. My second one popped up after I won my 2nd or 3rd race though so one may be unlocked through the races and one through storyline, or it might just be random which you unlock first.

Odd. I've also heard another member say that he unlocked them in the opposite order than I did .

I just did Malcs first mission and Daves first, and got the percentage addition. I didn't do Malcs race (the shooting of DeSean came first for me) so, do I still need ot do his second? The icon isn't appearing on my map anyway. Thanks.
