Playing in fullscreen (F11) i find gives you a few more FPS than playing in windowed.

I had a sneaky surspicion that they would charge for skins in minecraft Xbox version!

I always play in fullscreen, I don't know, I'll see how it is once I squeeze a new gfx card in here.

I can't believe how many people are blindly defending charging for something which has been free for the PC version since the f*cking beginning. But hey, if they want to pay for it, that's their choice.

It would be pretty simple to make it so the game can read a jpg file that you put on via dongle just like uploading to your profile in minecraft.

I feel that the lag has gotten better around the Tekkit Town and for all those whose been to my treehouse it lags like crazy but it hasn't been so bad - but that's just maybe because of the height my my base but I can usually run MC on far+ (using Optifine) but have to play on short to normal when I'm up there.

Okay,my laptop is back and I can play minecraft again.Now,I have to say something.Many people are addicted to minecraft,I am addicted to making new minecraft worlds.I never got to the nether because I always create a new world and then decide to clear up most of my old ones.

So,I decided to make a new world,and keep up with it.To make things cool,I decided to make it on a seed with a username I made up when I was six(and I still use it very often)
The seed is Joaoseinha
It blew my mind,because I spawned on some snow plains,no trees on sight.I was testing out my new BDCraft texture pack,and I went to the right,exploring my seed.Right away I find a lavafall with a tiny puddle of water next to it and some chickens.Killed the chickens and got cooked breasts,even got on fire but the puddle saved me.
That's it,but this world looks promising and I will show pictures of awesome stuff I find

EDIT: I've got to go to sleep,since I did this kind of late and I have something to do still.But this world is even more promising.Close-by the lavafall I found a cool stone rocky formation.Also these plains are huge.Only 2 trees on sight.Going to do some exploration tomorrow.

I used short render distance.For some reason I have a Dual Core AMD with 2.1Ghz and 4GB RAM and I can only run it that way with no lag.

Anyway,I just decided to take a closer look around me and got two more screenies.Apparentely according to that debug thingy,I'm in ''Ice Mountains''.Never saw anything like it.I'm normally in deserts anyway.

Last Screenies of the day: I didn't took many since I don't really like going through the uploading process and stuff.

Apparentely sheep like icy wastelands.Interesting fact.

The arch.Now I need some help.Should I build my house next to the lava fall(I'd like to have good access to lava real soon) or on that awesome arch?Thinking about it,the arch is not that far from the lava fall.

Okay,I've been playing for a bit more,and got some more pictures of the amazing world.First,I only found four trees in a 200 block radius,which means I'll have to grow a tree farm.I also found a second smaller arch,three caves,two seem huge and a waterfall.Also found some flying dirt blocks on a overhang I took the pictures from.Magic?

I haven't done much on the world.Gathered enough wool for a bed,harvested all trees in sight(four) and their saplings and explored my surroundings.Also got some easy cooked chicken on the lava and some feathers.

I have a couple of more screenies,now that I actually started doing something.I have a question:Why did the lava stopped going down to the puddle I had?It had made a natural cobble generator.Anyway,I managed to get a bucket when I found iron on my cobble mine and I managed to get some lava,but the lava is disappearing.It still has some bits there,but not that many.

What started happening to the lava(currently that lava next to the puddle is gone)

The basics are complete.The house had no roof at that point.In the current time,those dirt ''stairs'' have stone stairs over them.Will replace the dirt below with cobble once the house is complete.

I had started making a pyramid stone roof,but saw that as a sh*tty,bland and boring roof,so I decided to try a different style with wooden stairs...Let's say I don't have much wood...On this screenie you can notice how I get onto the roof(small hole on the hill) and my roof work pad(small dirt platforms all over the place for security,specially with lava nearby and such a huge fall).

The lava got even worse when I took a bucket of it.(I didn't do as much damage as it did to itself)

I don't like posting many pictures,but I got a couple of more and I need to post them.
The house is complete finally.Also the lavafall is gone with all the cold,and my house saw the first snow fall.I also nearly killed myself with lava on a small cave that contained 35 iron and 30 coal.My cobble mine ran into it.


My inventory & chest(not the current one,which has some minor changes)

Roof finished,Attic 0%.Starts snowing when I finish it.

One tree grew enormous.Also the house has a minor change.All the dirt construction platforms were removed.

Look what I found!It's amazing!I now have no doubts this world is epic.I found a pack of 10 sheep,got full iron equipment so I decided to explore and try to find a new biome.First I went to the weirdly shaped rock,and behind it there was a cave,and this:

Extends quite far.It goes under a frozen ocean,apparentely.

Exposed iron,coal and real height.This seed is awesome!Floating sh*t,tons of caves,waterfalls and lavafalls,a ravine,''ice mountains(weird to me because I never saw such a thing,besides that it is huge).

Fun fact: Even if you spawn in the middle of a forest with Large Biomes on, on a hardcore mode, you can still find jungle and snow-areas almost inside a maps reach. So yeah, I've got now all of four woods and enough saplings to farm them, and I found some pumpkins earlier from the forest. Went for a little digging outside my WIP-fortress and found abandont mineshaft. Guess what's rare plant found in those? Yep, melons, or to be specific, melon seeds. And, I also confirmed the fact that Nether portals can spawn pigmen, though very rarely.

I'll post pics within this day, internet acting slow once again...

And why have I never thought of using fence posts as pillars?! o_O

A whole new world of design has opened to me!
Except I like my "brutalistic Art Deco" style and hardly ever use wood on the exterior. Except in my villa, that has dark wood frame..

I'll post more pics of those three buildings when I actually build them on our server. Just made rude calculations of the materials for the station. 26 blocks of gold (not bad), 350 blocks of iron (dang), around 20 stacks of netherbrick and load of other materials. Luckily I have lot's of smoothstone and -brick, but I'll have to buy the gold and most of the iron which will make this the most expensive bulding I've done.

Started to clear land for the railway station yesterday. I have to demolish my country house and greenhouse because they're in the way.
But hey, that's progress.

My username (Barguast) is a good seed on the current version. It starts on a large peninsula with a nearby ravine which cuts through an abandoned mine shaft. I set up shop here until my house mysteriously burnt to the ground. Then I headed inland, north-west iirc, to an ice field with lava pools and a little beyond this is another ravine which cuts into a stronghold. I completed Minecraft legitimately on this map for the first time.

Notice that only ~20 seconds have passed since i made the world! I guess i am lucky as hell.

Try using OptiFine (the Smooth or Multi-Core version) to get a better framerate, helped me a bit

Try the seed walruswalruswalrus. You spawn inside a blacksmiths house with some diamond in the chest. 2 seconds.
