It all seems a little suspicious to me, 2 hours of no crashing, then suddenly. You add a cake, and it crashes. The cake must be a lie!
I got back on and yes, your cake is still there Oyster, for proof here's a pic.

It's weird that we didn't see each other while on, we was only (from my skin) 7 skins to the right, and 2 upwards o.o
EDIT: I feel sad for all other people, Ez visited the server (Notch's Wife) for 3 hours.

Well i did go for a little wonder down the path to the right of my avatar but there wasnt any built up behindm me for quite away when i left. I wonder why notches wifes nickname is EZ perhaps thats how notch bedded her.

That sir,is beautiful.My treehouse is never going to be like that.Not because I suck at building,It's because my treehouse is at the very top of the biggest jungle tree on the jungle,and I plan to connect most of the trees by ''checkpoints'' I can use to spend the night.I also will build some mines and I'll try to build a huuge wall over the jungle.Of course,that will suck more than a month of my life.

I have one day only on minecraft though,but the jungles have tons of resources,so...

Small update, I haven't gone mining in a while so I've run out of resources, this is taking more time than i had expected

Edit: Didn't know what to do for the roof, i had a lot of leftover wool so i figured why not.

Don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but a Minecraft snapshot was released on thursday (12w15a) and contains some pretty good bug fixes / features. http://www.minecraftforum.net/news/466-12w...dy-for-testing/

- Items of the same type dropped on the ground now stack together, reducing lag.
- Creative mode improvements
- Able to dispense boats, minecarts from dispensers now.

I sense the real clever Minecraftians like SethBling, Etho, Docm77, static777 and a whole heap of others are gonna do something really cool with the dispensers now being to dispense boats and minecarts.

I don't really like the wool 'wave' roof, I think you should do some tricky stuff with upside down brick slabs and stairs with netherbrick perhaps?

I've been playing minecraft for awhile but I haven't posted on gtaforums about any of my creations or anything. Anyway, here is my latest project, which is definitely a work in progress.



I'm building a small city built into the mountain behind the big entrance. I hollowed out the entire mountain behind it so now I'm slowly working on adding buildings and fixing it up nice. Everything I make is in survival mode too so I mine everything by hand.

Yeah, I don't find any interest in going into cheat mode ever or using a bonus chest. I'm very strict in my single player always legitimate resources and such. Why a bonus chest really? The best you can get is stone tools and wood and they're not hard at all to get within 2 minutes of gameplay. I have friends who play with the single player mod and I think it's so stupid. Minecraft a game with very little goals - the only main one being to get diamond, go to the nether, get blaze rods, get ender eyes, locate a stronghold then finally kill the boss. That's the only 'progression' and when people spawn stuff to build in single player then play in it seems meaningless. You cherish your home base a lot more if you built it from scratch and took you months building and expanding, I feel that's what Minecraft is about. Building is fine too in creative solely but when you cross the two, what's the point? Why mine anything when you can just spawn them? I think you should always be playing single player legit or it defeats the purpose playing, if you want to build massive cities join a server or do it yourself in creative or go play with legos. That's my opinion about the new cheat mode, I don't find and use of it also make it's too tempting for lazy players to cheat.

Been working on a massive project in my SP world for a few weeks. Just thought I'd show my current progress. The project is an Iron-Golem farm. The concept of the farm involves spacing out "villages" to get as many separate villages in one spot as possible. On average a Golem will spawn every 7 minutes, meaning that when I complete all 4 towers, for a total of 12 "villages", I will be looking at around 36 Iron every 7 minutes. Seems a bit overpowered, but this farm takes a lot of time and resources to get going to full capacity.


Overview of the farm. Only 2/4 of the towers completed currently. Currently the frame is 107x107x176.


128 Golems ready for harvesting. The Golems have no heads due to rendering glitches on Ubuntu. (4FPS in this shot.... even just 128 Golems kills my FPS completely)


The loot. Minus the two dirt blocks and the flowers, that's over 500 Iron ready for collecting.


Another perspective showing just how much Iron I got from that harvest.



It's a pretty nice project that's worth investing in when you are well-established on a world. Even just a single tower can produce a nice flow of Iron.

@james227uk & Toup: Are all you 'Mindcrack' watchers like myself? This includes, Etho, Docm77, BDoubleO100, GuudeBoulderfist, PauseUnpause, VintageBeef, Baj, Kurtjmac and the others (can't remember). I really like that Minecraft LP group on youtube. I kinda grew tired of Paulsoaresjr - he just kinda got annoying, I've seen SeaNanners redo a Minecraft series still haven't watched it, not sure of X has delved into Minecraft again and lastly Coestar has put his LP on hiatus which is disappointing because I followed him for the start. I'm a big Youtube user as you can tell. I only regularly watch Etho, Docm77, BdoubleO and Guude - The Ultra Hardcore series is fun to watch and I'll watch the others perspectives sometimes.

Anyone else watch LP's or have a favourite LP'r?

Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of the Mindcrack stuff. I only really watch Etho and Docm77's videos of the server though; I'm not really that familiar with the others such as Baj, Pause and Beef. Pretty familiar with Guude and Bdouble though due to their Let's Plays of Super Hostile maps.

Anyone checked TheMinecraftMuse? I think he got it all for being great minecrafter, he has his own island full of useful & decorative stuff, and it all works together. I would recommend checking it out.

I'll be uploading a video soon of my "castle". It's not so much really, even though it includes huge farm (WIP), and few big rooms.
So far, the house includes following:
-2 warehouses, total of 36 chests.
-Kitchen, 2 furnaces & workbench, seats/table, cake, food-supplier (dispenser)
-Workshop, 3 workbenches, +10 furnaces, lava-flows from ceiling to floor
-Alchemy room, 2 chests with water-bottles & potions, brewing stand, enchantement table with bookshelfs, decorative leafs, vines & water-flows.
-Bedroom, 2 beds, chest for tools/armor/weapons/misc, chest for discs and jukebox, decorative vines, leaves & bookshelfs, cool window
-Living room, fireplace, couch & tv, cool window
-Pet-room, place for multiple dogs & cats.
-Trophy room, dragon egg, chests with golden apples, cakes, lots of decorative stuff.
-Wheat-farm, underground, one section able to produce nearly 4 stacks of wheat for each generation, 1/4 sections finished so far, all farmland is "wet", and wheat-collection is automated by water collecting all the wheat and delivering it to the lever which controls water-flow.

Still working on lots of stuff, I'm in need for ideas where to place melon/pumpkin/sugar-farms, animal farms and place for some pixel-art. (Maybe some distant area at the sea?)
