| QUOTE (bud23 @ Monday, Aug 13 2012, 18:04) | | QUOTE (Mokrie Dela @ Monday, Aug 6 2012, 18:46) | | My point is there's nothing to DO last a certain point in certain areas. |
This is true, but sometimes you donīt need to do nothing to appreciate the greatness of a game. In RDR, sometimes I just stop to see a sunset or how sunrise acts over water of a lake. There is no another landscape as beautiful as the landscape of RDR .
Sometimes I donīt want more than this, by these things RDR is magical imo. | 100% agree with you The atmosphere and beauty carry the game off Traveling from mcf's to gaptooth for example - I have to have a stop for the night at ridge wood - walking your horse is relaxing! However 9/10 times I find myself asking: why am I riding out here? I got to rathscaler (sp?) to play blackjack, armadillo for poker, ridgewood as a 'hotel' etc I hope rdr3 will feature much more interaction an support being a true outlaw (RDR just misses this IMO)

| QUOTE (Linki @ Monday, Aug 13 2012, 23:06) | Yeah I can't wait to see what a next gen Red Dead would be like. I hope it puts more emphasis on survival and generally more realistic game function, since it suits the slower pace of the game compared to something like GTA.
I also agree with you Mokrie on sometimes feeling no motivation to travel - sometimes you have to make up your own, imaginary reasons. Which is fine, but sometimes it's nice to have a more tangible set goal. And yeah, more support for the outlaw's course. Man, I'm getting excited thinking about the possibilities of a new Red Dead. | even more than GTA? I think a new RDR will excite me more. COME ON R* GIVE US V ALREADY haha

I think a new RDR will excite me more. COME ON R* GIVE US V ALREADY haha | Maybe, but personally I prefer GTA to Red Dead. I just think imagining the potential of the next Red Dead is very exciting.

| QUOTE (rotipuj @ Wednesday, Aug 15 2012, 23:45) | | Is there a way to turn off other people's mics on multiplayer? It gets really annoying when you're trying to play and some idiot is screaming into his mic. I mean like turn it off so only I don't have to hear it. | Press BACK (xbox) or SELECT (PS3) (i think) and view the list of members. Selecting one member's name will allow you to send them a message, or join posse, or "MUTE" That's how you do it. The annoying part is muting everyone as they all seem to be 12 year old Justin-beiber on helium sounding motherf*ckers! @Linki, i think RDR3 excites me more. GTA is GTA, and it's still he daddy, but it's GTA. We know what we're getting. i think it's cos RDR is different, and kinda unique, that its like GTA III - a quality game. Then VC comes out and everyone's "wow" RDR3 will be like VC to me. GTA has had enough games that - i wont go as far as saying it's getting old - but it's like ordering "steak and chips" - you know what you're going to get. Ordering a meal with a foreign name, and offers a twist you've not had before is more exiting. while V will be awesome, im sure, and the better of the two games, the prospect of RDR3 excites me more.

Have been far away from Western Border States for a long while. Anyway, in Red Dead Redemption, there's a relaxing background music that rarely plays in certain situations. I think that it's done by a string instrument, and you can hear it in the background during this mission, while John and Abraham are on the road: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJtTGS55zgsIs there a way to extract it and make it in a separate audio file? There's a simple way. Someone has to turn off all sound effects except the music. He records the mission and waits for the whole music to finish. Then, he transfers the recorded video to a computer and use an audio extractor to get the music from the video. Who would do it? the one who would, would be eligible for a . | QUOTE (cp1dell @ Monday, Aug 13 2012, 19:38) | | On the Social Club checklist, it says I have 7 of 8 Gang Hideouts. Now I know there are only really seven needed, but what is the eight one supposed to be? The only one I can think of it being is Solomon's Folly, but I already complete that and saved afterwards. Maybe it just didn't update? |
1) Solomon's Folly. 2) Fort Mercer. 3) Twin Rocks. 4) Pike's Basin. 5) Gaptooth Breech. 6) Tumbleweed. 7) Tesoro Azul. 8) Nosalida. This post has been edited by TheKryptonite on Thursday, Aug 23 2012, 12:47
