I started playing Gta on my 360 a couple weeks ago and i went to look up some cheats and there all for the xbox most likely because the game was made for the xbox not the 360. so i tried to convert the cheats and well that didnt turn out so well. Some of the cheats like Spawn Rhino will work and i think it is because it dosent have a up,down,left or right in it. Take a look!

For Example
Xbox version-Spawn Rhino= B,B,L,B,B,B,L,White,R,Y,B,Y
360 version-Spawn Rhino= B,B,Lt,B,B,B,Lt,Lb,Rt,Y,B,Y

I honestly don't know if anyone ever confirmed the cheats above for xbox, let alone for the 360--

I don't know of any site that has checked the cheats or converted them for the 360 if the controller is different-- if you do confirm any, or find a site that does I'd appreciate a post back here.

On a related note, the PS3 & PS2 controllers are the same (other then the pesky wire on the PS2)-- but I haven't confirmed any cheats for the PS2 version on my PS3 either.

Sorry this isn't very helpful-- there never has been many xbox posters on this board (for Vice City) anyway.

Sorry I mis-interpreted the topic's purpose! It will be interesting to see what results you come back with, mate. Good job on successfully convertin the spawn a Rhino cheat.

I'm pretty sure all the cheats work with the 360 aswell. Make sure you're inputting the D-pad parts correctly, as the 360 D-pad is a bit dodgy to say the least.

Floating car cheat for 360
Right, Rb, B, Rt, Lb, X, Rt, Rb

I got the floating car cheat to work!!! I used the D pad so in theory if a cheat has left, right, up, or down you can use the D pad and it will work

After a bit of searching, I've found this website, which has indeed converted all X-box cheats and made them compatible for the X-box 360, take a look. I don't know if these have been verified or not, pretty sure they have. But to really cement it down, maybe you could verify them yourself?

I have gotten more to work but anything with up, down, left or right in it seems to be harder to enter in correctly. For example the health cheat (RT, RB, LT, B, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up) I cant just press each buttons and it work i have to press RT, RB, LT, and B then roll my thumb around the d-pad for the Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, and Up part for it to work I think it might be because i dont enter it in fast enough but i am not too sure

I have used Attract Ladies, every weather cheat, cars float, get health, get armor , wepon set #1, wepon set #2, Spawn Rhino, Look like sonny, and speed up time. So i know all of these work for sure!

If you have a controller with Spit fire mod in theory you could program one of the buttons to do a cheat and it would work.

I've noted the converted 360 cheats in the Confirmed Cheats topic, at the top of this page. However, a lot of these cheats are yet to be confirmed, and I would appreciate it if somebody were to give all the above cheats a go on the 360, and confirm the ones that work/don't work. It will also be greatly appreciated if somebody was to confirm that all PS2 cheats work on the PS3. I'm sure this will make the guide more useful.

using ASPIRINE in a car on gtavc pc version will repair your car engine too
it works even your car has just started to burn

It sure does, though the code you enter is obviously different. For the original Xbox console, the code is this -

R, Black, L, B, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up

It's essentially the health code, though if you type it in when you're in a vehicle, it will heal the vehicle as well. The converted code for the 360 console is yet to be confirmed.

Be sure to have a look at the Confirmed Cheats topic. If the only cheat you know of is the health code, then it is well worth a look.

Sorry for bumping, but as they've always said there was a cheatcode for candy suxxx playermodel in PS2 version, and there was not such code for PC one. It's not exactly truth, cheat for candy in PC version is : "IWANTBIGTITS". Confirmed and working
