Hey I just want you to know that I`m going to post some more savegames with other strange things I created...

Hey guys, you won`t believe this.
Somehow my savegames have become corrupted and now the Leaf Links Golfers, Security Guards and the Army own Empire Sites.
You can actually fight them, but the spawning Enemies you have to kill do not carry any weapons.
And even stranger is the description you can see on the map.
The site icons have turned white and the description says they would belong to Umberto`s Guys.
This might be a proof, that at one point during development of the game the Cubans were actually meant to take part in Empire Building.
I`m sharing my savegames with you, to see it for yourself.
(Both were 100% complete without cheating, but it looks like the stats have been affected aswell)

It`s for the PSP US Version of VCS.
Look for the white building icons on the map to find the glitched sites.

You will start in the Fort Baxter Barracks which you normally can`t enter anymore later in the game
maybe this was because I was wearing the Army Outfit before saving my game, who knows ?

Strange similar to SA territory glitch?
Btw. there's another "gang" in the game you didn't mention: Marty's trailer trash boys (which actually own sites before they become available)

Yes I forgot about them, I just wish I could reproduce this Glitch, maybe other unused Gangs like Martys Gang, Mendez Gang and the Cubans would show up aswell, but I really don`t know what has caused this Glitch, especially because it applied to both of my savegames.

I found out what caused this to happen.
I was playing VCS as an Iso from my Memory Card (Because of the faster loading times)
And I didn`t know that this Iso was the one with the modified Main.scm from the PS2 version of the game I created while playing around with Main.scm modding in VCS.
I did not notice this, because I thought you could not load your savegames from an unmodified version of the game in a hacked version.
In the PC GTAs it never worked but on the PSP it does for some reason !

When I loadet my savegames in that hacked Iso everything seemed to be normal, but after saving again the modified Main.scm caused to glitch up the stats, Empire Sites and some other things... thats the mistery behind the glitched savegames.

The good thing is, now that I know what caused it I can reproduce this Glitch and maybe get other normally unused Gangs to show up aswell...

Stay tuned for more glitch savegames.
I`m going to post new ones if I get the Cubans, Trailer Park Mafia or something else to appear.

On a sidenote:
Don`t call me a software pirate because of the iso. I assure you I`v dumped it from my very own GTA VCS
UMD with a neat little tool called UMD DUMPER. Just wanted to clear this up to prevent posts about software pirating.

I don`t get it.
Actually I said I did NOT use a iso from the net.
I used my very own GTA VCS UMD which I`ve bought myself.
I don`t touch warez and the like.
That iso I was talking about comes from my own UMD and with no word did I say I`m going to release it...
Not here on GTAF and not anywhere else on the net.
If it`s illegal to use the word ISO here on these forums then what do you say about this Thread:

I did not know that talking about iso (sorry for the word) hacking is illegal.

But I will stop talking about those things from now on.

In the topic title I`ve only said that Golfers would own empire sites. I`ve found out about the Army and the PIGs after naming the topic and I did not change the topic name anymore. While playing I simply decided to take some pics of the empire site owned by the Army as a proof, that this is no fake. The reason, why I took pictures of the Army instead of the Golfers is that I thought they might be more interesting to see than the Golfers...

Well the Golfers which spawn around the empire sites are carrying golf clubs, just like they normally do when you see them walking around Leaf Links.
But those which come out of the building if you destroy their car, to take the site over have no weapons at all, they attack you with their fists.
That`s probably because the Golfers, aswell as the Army and PIGs are not meant to own empire sites.
By the way, there are also no Objects to destroy inside their sites.
To take them over you only have to kill all golfers inside the building.
One of them has a baseball bat, but he`s the only one with a weapon, all others are unequipped.

Also interesting is, that the gang car which spawns outside their building (the one you have to destroy, in order to start an attack on their site) is NOT a Caddy, like you might expect, it`s a Sentinel, looks like that`s the default car which spawns outside, if no specific one is chosen for that gang.

I'm using the provided game save and went to an army empire site in Vice Point. I found the Barracks OL dangling from the roof! Maybe it's a spawning problem?

That`s cool, but I`m not sure why this happened to you. For me the only car that spawns at those glitched sites is the sentinel, as you can see it on the first pic.

There`s something funny I just discovered, try to go to the Army site in Vice Point, when you`re not wearing the Army Clothes !
The Soldiers will go mad when they see you and immediately start attacking you with their M16`s even though you are not inside Fort Baxter ! If you have enough Health and Armor, this can provide some really nice shootouts! For example I was using a sniper gun to shoot their heads off from the roof of the mall.

Now I get it. Im sorry I did not know that you are playing on PS2.

It`s a package containing 25 Pictures, I took while attacking a Golfer Site and a few of the Site owned by Security Guards !







I`m sorry, but I`m only hacking the PSP games, because hacking on PS2 is very "uncomfortable", if you know what I mean.
Every time you change anything on the game you have to create a new DVD. It simply takes up too much time (and DVDs).
That`s why I`m only doing it on the PSP !
