Well I don't know about S10's But I got the GMC version the (Sonoma). Just like a S10 but with different grill.

It's a nice ride. Saves gas,you can do so much with it like lower it, and so on.

Mine is a 2003,V6 vortec, auto ,3rd door, 2wd ,SLS edition on 17 alloy's... Those vortec 1's packs a lot of punch for your money (But I didn't buy it tho. I got it from my grandpa when he past away in the middle of summer in 2008). Don't know what kind of tires your thinking off. But on mine it can roast them if I punch it. Also not bad on speed. Got mine to about 104 or 105mph in it on the highway .

I know alot of guys around here who converted their s-10's over to the Sonoma clips. I personally like the Sonoma clip better than the s-10 ones.

but like everyone said, the mods you can do are unlimited.

Holy sh*t. With this being my first car and all, the budget is about 12000 SEK. That would be around 1500$. It aint much, but i know that i can get a decen one for around a thousand up here.

This is my first car to. Like I said I didn't buy it I got it when my grandpa past away. If that didn't happen I wouldn't have anything right now.

Holy Thread Resurrection!

Makes me miss my S10. I had a '93 regular cab with a 4.3L and 5-speed manual transmission. It was a great little truck. It had about 325,000 miles on the body and 140,000 on the motor (out of an '03 S10). I don't remember how many miles the original motor had, but it was probably around 280,000 before it quit.

Some bastard stole it out of my stepmom's yard, but they didn't know how to drive a stick shift, so they destroyed the transmission.

And the Xtreme is just a regular S10 with some added body-cladding and different wheels to make it look like a sport truck. You want a really special S10? Find a Syclone! Not really an S10, but a Sonoma, since it's a GMC. It's got a modified 4.3L V6 with a turbocharger! Puts out 280hp and 350 ft/lbs of torque.
